Honestly, I hardly set New Year Resolutions but for 2015, I decided to do so. Best to set goals and work towards it! Let’s get straight to the point!
Here are my 10 New Year Resolutions for 2015!
1. Catch up with old pals.
I actually wrote about this on Facebook. I decided I should start putting in more effort to catch up with old pals. Be it through messages or in person. I have already pre-empted people that I am not in Insurance, Property, MLM or Time-Share just incase. LOL!
There are so many friends who have drifted apart throughout the years and while it might be difficult to catch up with everybody, I’ll try my best to have at least a good chat with one every week.
2. Write off toxic people.
There are some people who are just not good for you. They spread negativity and that is not something I would want in my life. So.. goodbye and good riddance to toxic people!
3. Work towards a healthier lifestyle.
I have pretty much reached slacker zone after 1.5 years of hardcore-ness. I will try to strike a balance. No carbs and working out 5 times a week is not sustainable for me. Instead I’ll try to go low carb and work out every week.
And also try to cut down on way too much sugary drinks. I used to drink 3 cans a day. Time to cut down!
4. Save more money and spend lesser on frivolous stuff.
I’m a SUPER shopaholic but I do save aside moolah for a rainy day. With the Punggol BTO coming really soon, it’s time to cut down. Time to save more moolah for the house!
5. Spend more time with family.
As I grow older, I realised how important it is to spend time with family. We only have so much time with them. They are more important than work, hanging out with friends etc.
Family comes first. Always.
6. Let it go.
There are things that can’t be explained. There are people who can’t be helped. Just let it go. And don’t bother. In other words, why give a flying fuck to such things?
I have friends who are extremely opinionated. After a while, I just turn a deaf ear to them or well, let it go.
7. Try to be less messy.
Almost impossibru. 30 years of my life, messy all the way.
But I’ll try for my new place.
8. Start new projects
I’ve been talking about starting new projects with 3 separate parties for the longest time. Time to make at least one of it happen this year.
9. Sleep earlier.
I sleep really late everyday and it’s really bad for me. Shall try to sleep earlier from now on. Need more rest!
10. Improve on my punctuality.
I’m usually late for work because I oversleep. (i.e. Look at the point above). Usually when it comes to gatherings, meetings, events, appointments, I don’t have a problem. I endeavour to improve my punctuality! Sleep early, wake up earlier, go to work early! I shall try!
