Here’s the third edition of bite-sized reviews!

The kind folks at RoC had passed me both their Soleil Protection+ (sunblock) and the Keops (deodorant).

Sunblock is extremely important. As we grow older, we tend to have age spots, freckles and skin ages extremely fast. I use sunblock everyday without fail. I tried the RoC’s sunblock and felt that it isn’t sticky (I have a pet peeve for uber sticky products), no strong smells and doesn’t leave any residue. I like it!

KEOPS is a deodorant that boasts to last for 24 hours and is both fragrance and alcohol free. Personally I kinda prefer deodorants with fragrance but I guess fragrance free would be better for my skin?

My mum and I have been a huge fan of the ROC Extra Comfort Cleansing Water. Well, to be exact, my mum has been a huge fan and I have been just stealing her stuff to use :x It’s good for light makeup or just simple cleansing in my opinion but definitely not for heavy duty makeup.

For heavier makeup, I would recommend using the Cleansing Express Makeup Remover instead.

Here’s the giftpack I received at one of their events. I used the makeup remover and it’s fantastic! Even removed my stubborn Majolica Majorca mascara! My three favourite eye makeup removers would be: ZA’s Cleansing Oil, Loreal’s Eye and Lip makeup remover and Cleansing Express. :)

The kind folks at Grayling and Boots had sent over some lovely sweet smelling Boots products.

I have yet to try the Body Wash and Shower Gel but I’ve tried out the lovely Boots Amazon Forest Mango & Babassu Body Butter.

This extremely rich body butter smells heavenly and is extremely nourishing for my skin. I suffer from dry skin and I find that it’s fantastic for me. Super moisturising. Highly recommended!

Here’s part two of my Bite-sized reviews series!

As some of you guys may know, I’m a huge fan of the Elizabeth Arden Prevage series, especially the Day moisturiser.

The night cream might be a bit costly to many but I find that it’s a worthwhile investment. Not only have I seen results from the cream, I absolutely adore the packaging.

[Review] Trying out the UOB Mobile Banking iPhone application

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

I first heard about the UOB Mobile Banking app from the good people at UOB. I later read about it from Nanyate, JoeTeh, LesterChan and Young Upstarts. It sounded really intriguing and I was wondering about it. The app totally slipped my mind till one day, I was surfing the App Store and was looking at Top 25 Free Apps.

Usually every December, the boy and I will be traveling to Bangkok to party away but this year, we found a bit hard to get away.  We then decided to go for a staycation!

We had found out about Oasia Hotel from Eevon and with the current Oasia Weekend Promotion, we thought it was quite a good deal!

Oasia Hotel is conveniently located next to Velocity. Great area, near town and there’s lots of eateries nearby.

We had booked a Club Room. We had went to the reception desk and was ushered to Level 22 instead to check in and check out. Much lesser people there, we managed to beat the queue!

Level 22 was exclusive to Club floor guests. This was where we had access to The Living Room (where drinks and light snacks were available all day).

I’ll cover more about The Living Room later.

I’ve been going to Mellben Seafood rather regularly since the Toa Payoh outlet is just opposite Ching Chong Boy‘s place. And everytime I tweet or check in via Foursquare, I tend to evoke certain responses from my BFF Jace.

“Wah so shiok!”
“Bo jio!”
“I also want :(

Ching Chong Boy and I decided to “jio” Jace and Boss (that’s what she calls her bf!) to Mellben Seafood one weekend. We did not make any reservations but we reached rather early at 6pm as from previous experiences, it tends to get rather crowded from 6.30pm onwards.

My friend Sharon has set up her own online store called A Private Room! She set up something different as compared to the many blogshops out there! Her main product range? Lingerie & Sleepwear/Pajamas. *wolf whistles*

I think it’ll be a huge hit! Girls who are a bit shy or do not have the time, can always purchase their sexy lingerie online! While boys can purchase naughty gifts for their girlfriends without being given judging looks from sales people. :X

Here are some of the products from A Private Room that I’ll be reviewing today!
