A super belated post! The hubby planned for a yummy dinner for my birthday! He brought me to Wooloomooloo, a steak house for a sumptuous birthday dinner.
Background info: C(hubby) first found out about my blog way before I met him. It was mainly because we had mutual friends. Upon reading my blog, he realised we both had the same favourite food: steak. And that was when he started reading my blog. Well, mainly for the steak reviews. LOL
If one was to compare to Morton’s, Wooloomooloo’s ambience and decor was a bit more intimate than Morton’s. It wasn’t as noisy and it was much brighter.
I miss my dipdye hair by Shunji Matsuo 313. And well, my long hair.
I love their onion bread! Very yummy and fragrant!
The foie gras was also delicious. I liked that I could use a few different type of salt to pair with it!
We shared this huge slab of meat! The tomahawk if I remembered correctly! While the serving was huge, I personally preferred a different cut of meat. If I were to return, I’ll definitely opt for a tenderloin instead. The tomahawk was a tad too much was us two.
We ordered sautéed mushrooms as our side. Simple and yummy.
I was surprised with a birthday cake! Chocolate lava cake! Personally I preferred Morton’s chocolate cake. That’s definitely one of the best chocolate lava cakes in Singapore.
The c(hubby) also ordered fireworks. LOL. I kid. My birthday was on the eve of Chinese New Year thus there were fireworks. I like to pretend that it was meant for me. :p
The kind folks from Wooloomooloo took a picture and gave me a card because it was my birthday! 🙂
And now… for my birthday outfit!
A black and gold day. Simple black bareback dress coupled with Charles and Keith wedges and a gold Longchamp bag. Regretted buying the short handle bag though, I find it a bit uncomfy to carry around. Will def buy a long handle version next time!

What are your favourite steak places? Do recommend! C(hubby) and I are always on the lookout for steak places! We will be sharing our experiences about a lovely steak place soon! But first, need to clear the backlog! :p
