Check out Day One here.

Thankfully Apple Hotel had wifi, I couldn’t find those data prepaid cards. As I’ll be heading to Malaysia pretty soon again, I am looking for a prepaid data card, best is if it’s for Blackberry. Does anyone know where I can get them in Malaysia? Do their 7Elevens sell them?

Anyway, we read that Bukit Bintang was fairly near our hotel. We walked to Bukit Bintang and explored Bukit Bintang and Sungei Wang.

Dear Jace mentioned she felt like going for a holiday and within a few days, we booked our trip! We had initially discussed with Fidelis but she couldn’t make it in the end :(

We called it the “Girls Gone Wild” trip because we went ahead without our boyfriends’ approval. Hurhur!

We traveled by Tiger Airways and Jacelyn gave me a huge scare! I thought she wouldn’t be able to make it for her flight due to the huge traffic jam but.. we made it in the nick of time!

We took a cab from the airport to our hotel instead of the more economic option of taking the skybus to KL Central as we were rather tired.

We had booked Apple Hotel but realised later it was really tiny! The pictures were rather deceiving!

I visited Batam for a short 2 Days, 1 Night trip during the Easter weekend. I had borrowed a Panasonic GF2 and took some pictures during the trip using the special effects. methinks it’s very nifty! No need to photoshop. hurhur. Ching Chong Boy had puchased a groupon offer which included a half day tour. Not too bad. We made friends with some of the people in the group and had a ball of a time. :)

Pics of my batam trip below!

I miss Phuket.

Singapore Travel Blog

If you ask me which do I prefer, Phuket or Bangkok, I wouldn’t be able to answer you. It really depends on the company.

If it were with some friends, I would head to Bangkok, shop and eat the days away and partying at RCA during the nights.

But if it were with my special someone in my life, I would have to say Phuket. Last July, the boy and I went to Phuket for a simple and sweet holiday.

We didn’t do much but spend more time together, to work out some issues and also just spend quality time together. We had booked a fantastic room where we would just walk out to the balcony and jump into the pool

A girly staycation part 4: Dinner, lancing lancing and the morning after.

Part 4 of the Girly Staycation entries!

After dressing up, we had to go out for dinner and drinks!

We had decided that Jacelyn and I would be taking the dinner, Sab and Fidel to take breakfast and Esther will take lunch. (Because the package with Quincy offered 2 x dinners, 2 x lunches and 2 x breakfasts)

And before we all split up for dinner, we camwhored again!

Some pictures:

Fidel and I are the ladies in black!

Sab and I acting cute.

With pretty Jace! She’s so pretty and slim!

Forgot to take a pic with Esther! Oops. Sorry Esther!

Esther had given us early Xmas gifts! Thanks sweetie!

Headed off for dinner at Quincy.

Basically we had free flow of soup and fruit salad and a choice of a main course.

The broccoli soup was watery and bland.

Fruit salad was good. But how wrong can you go with fruit salad?

Jacelyn and I decided to share the mains..

The pasta was damn nice. Unfortunately the clams were almost non-existent.

Steak was so-so.

Overall, the meal at Quincy Hotel was Disappointing. Yes, with a capital D!

Boo! Silly Jace wasn’t looking! Pls ignore the blubber.

After dinner, we headed off to Zirca for some fun! Omg! I really enjoyed Rebel! Music was good but sadly it was way too crowded! Some pictures from the club. *picture spam*

The black and white gang.

<3 bubbly!

Spotted a cloud decor in Zirca! Mad cute!

We partied, drank and had fun and we only ended at 4plus and headed to Lau Pa Sat for supper! By the time we crawled back to the hotel, it was 5plus!

In the end, I think I was the most sober and awake one of us 4! I even called ching chong boy to chit chat with him after bathing. Wah lao, by 6plus when I had showered etc, he had just stepped out of the club. My bf, lagi more havoc than me!

The next morning, Sabrina and Fidel decided to skip breakfast. I can’t blame them! I would do exactly the same thing. Hurhur.

We took some pictures! Sleepwear by Les-affaires! :) I kinda regretted my choice after seeing the other girls’ items! All way chio-er than mine :)

Hahhaa the funniest pic. Macam Esther kena “eaten” up by me the night before.

Sab’s friend Edmund kindly bought lunch for us. We packed up and headed off and ended our girly staycation. :(

I love staycations! Planning to have another either with the girls or the bf soon!

A girly staycation part 3: Playing dress-me-up!

Part 3 of the Girly Staycation episodes!

Needless to say, after the makeover, all of us played dress me up!

We had a few blogshops that sponsored us clothes and accessories. Really pretty items!

So this entry is to thank the sponsors!

Pretty rose bracelet from Mynt!

Sweet kitty necklace from Wenya Designs who had previously advertised on my blog before!

The Elstarade Collection. Very unique open shoulder maxi :)

The Urban Bangs Collection: Paired my maxi with a H&M Inspired Cardigan. Very comfy!

The Milly Walker Collection: While the Syshe Shift Dress is very flattering with a  sexy back, the dress is a bit see through. I went with nipple tape and all the girls could see the tape. Errr, not sure if nu-bra will work though. I love Esther’s Harel Pearl Dress though!

The Vanilla Lollies Collection: One of my personal faves. I love the dresses that the other grils were wearing! Super flattering! Sabrina and I chose the DKNY inspired dress in Light Pink!

The Miuee Collection: Super duper flattering black dress for me. <3 <3 <3

Am pretty pleased by the items. Which do you think flatters me the most?

We were all dressed up and we had plans for dinner and activities after that. Check out the next entry for Part 4!

A girly staycation part 2: The makeovers.

Part 2 of the Girly Staycation entries!

Remember I asked you to guess why our room was so messy?

It was because we had mini makeovers, played dressed up and had a manicure session!

We all brought our makeup sets over. I had brought over 8 Majolica Majorca eyeshadow palettes amongst other Majolica Majorca goodies. Jacelyn and Fidelis also brought some of their Ettusais stuff too!

Some pictures of the session!

We girls really had fun! Sweet Jacelyn helped Sabrina and I with our untidy brows and Fidel gave Sab a makeover!

My unglam face while putting on makeup!

My final look!

I had told Esther about a marbling technique for the nails and she was so intrigued about it then she decided to do it for us during the staycation!

Some pics!

First paint a base colour..

Drip a few colours in sequence. E.g. Drip white, then pink then purple then white again, pink and purple.

Then using a stick (or a pin in our case), draw a line.

Dip your finger in.

By right, you should have used tape to paste around your nail bed so that it won’t stain your fingers. Marbling is really a messy affair! Way easier to just pop by to Milly’s for a manicure! :p

We took a crazy loads of pictures that day because I brought a Canon Selphy Photo Printer!

Absolutely adore the G11, I influenced Jacelyn to get one too! Muahahahaaa. It’s a great cawhore camera!

We played dress up too! Check out the next entry for pics!

A girly staycation part 1: The hotel.

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

When I first said I was going for a staycation with the bf then, everyone was asking me what staycation meant. It seemed then that the term staycation was pretty much unheard of. Laoniang enlightened a lot of people okay!

And if you are still wondering what’s a staycation, it’s basically have a vacation without traveling anywhere. A vacation staying put!

The bf and I had two staycations so far, once at Wanderlust for his birthday and the other at Rendezvous Hotel where I did the Biore and Whisper sponsored reviews! (Note to self: to blog about Rendezvous soon.)

I came up with the idea of a girls staycation with the girls to basically have a sleepover, play dress up, go clubbing and just bond!. Checked with Esther, Sabrina, Fidelis and Jacelyn and they were game. Hooray for spontaneous girlfriends! <3

Much love to both Esther and Jacelyn for recee-ing the hotels. With their expert recommendations, we chose Quincy Hotel.

Quincy Hotel is located fairly near Orchard Road. It’s actually located beside Elizabeth Hotel, which is the place where Arsenal supporters hang out at during Arsenal matches. Heard from my siao on Arsenal fans. Hurhur.

Honestly, the location isn’t fantastic. Cabdrivers seem to not recognise the address and poor Sabrina had trouble with parking. Nonetheless, the service at Quincy was good at least. :)

The rooms cost about S$358+++ usually however there was a weekend promo and it turned out to be $268+++ instead. Not too bad.

Some pics around the hotel.

Here are some pictures of the room.

Similar to Wanderlust Hotel, Quincy offers an iPod dock and free drinks.

Plus points: We had a free bottle of red wine (which we did not drink. hurhur) and some snacks!

My outfit for the staycation?

A pretty pink outfit which had sweet white ribbons on them.

If you thought it was a maxi, you are so wrong! Very very comfy outfit. Loving sponsored by TheBlogShop of course. :)

I think the bathtub was used most to wash our feet. Hurhur.

See what happened to our room after 5 messy girls checked in!

If you’re wondering why it became so messy, check out the next post. Coming soon! :”)
