Outfit of the day: The mermaid dress that I wore for #NAPBAS!
Thursday, January 12th, 2012
You’ve all seen the nails I had on for the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards, now here’s the dress! I am hesitant in sharing where to buy the dress as the shop stocks a crazy amount of gorgeous dresses which is suitable for glam events!

The dress is extremely body-hugging. It’s in a gorgeous shade of blue, a halter neck with black gemstones.

I did consider the option of wearing a bra with this dress but the effect was rather… OTT.
Errr, pics below.
Review: Staycation at Oasia Hotel
Tuesday, December 13th, 2011
Usually every December, the boy and I will be traveling to Bangkok to party away but this year, we found a bit hard to get away. We then decided to go for a staycation!
We had found out about Oasia Hotel from Eevon and with the current Oasia Weekend Promotion, we thought it was quite a good deal!
Oasia Hotel is conveniently located next to Velocity. Great area, near town and there’s lots of eateries nearby.
We had booked a Club Room. We had went to the reception desk and was ushered to Level 22 instead to check in and check out. Much lesser people there, we managed to beat the queue!

Level 22 was exclusive to Club floor guests. This was where we had access to The Living Room (where drinks and light snacks were available all day).
I’ll cover more about The Living Room later.

Review: Flying without wings with iFly Singapore
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
Kenny and Joy from Grayling (yes, my ex-company
) invited me for a great body flight experience (i.e. skydiving) at iFly Singapore a few weeks ago. I’ve always wanted to try skydiving (and bungee jumping) but never had the opportunity to do so. I also brought Ching Chong Boy with me!
Needless to say, when both Kenny and Joy presented this opportunity, I said YES immediately!

Here’s some background info on iFly.
- It’s the world’s largest indoor skydiving simulator.
– It’s the only wind tunnel that offers flyers an unparalleled view of the South China Sea and a nightly firework display from the nearby Songs of the SEA.
– Anyone from first timers to professional flyers can fly.
– 20 professional flyers can be accommodated at any one time.
– It’s a great full body workout!
– Local trained instructors has clocked in more than 50 hours of flight time. Impressive!
Alrighty, picture time! (Pictures taken by Jacelyn and me!)
Ching Chong Boy’s birthday celebration – My Star Virgo 6D5N cruise to Ho Chi Minh & Redang experience!
Friday, September 23rd, 2011
Remember my previous entry? I had celebrated Ching Chong Boy’s birthday by arranging for a staycation and massage the day before his birthday (which I will blog about it later…) and for his birthday, we went for a cruise! To be exact, the Star Virgo 6D5N cruise to Ho Chi Minh & Redang. This was made possible by Nuffnang and Star Cruises! <3

I figured that blogging by each activities day by day might be a tad messy and confusing to read thus I decided to go thru the following in this order!
1.The room
2. The makan places
3. The facilities
4. The activities
5. Ho Chi Minh
6. Redang
Random camwhoring pictures will be inserted in between. :X
I had brought along Colin who brought along Ivan! Glad to have them on this trip! Great company
We enjoyed a rather VIP check in, very hassle free and my Guest Service Officer Vivian was a great help. She helped arranged for all tours and reservations!

We were treated with a welcome drink and was given a tour of the facilities and restaurants in Star Virgo.
Happy Birthday Ching Chong Boy!
Sunday, September 11th, 2011
Last year, we had the 4 days of celebration! But this year, we will have 7 days of celebration!
Didn’t exactly surprised him this year though! The day before his birthday, we had a staycation (am still staying here!) at Grand Plaza City Hall Hotel! Enjoyed a spa session (surprise for him!) and we are currently partying at Boiler Room with his friends!
Tomorrow we’ll check out and we’ll head to…………………………
a 6D5N cruise trip! To be exact, Star Virgo to Ho Chi Minh and Redang! <3
Updates when I’m back! But in the meantime, pls leave a comment here wishing my birthday boy (though I did call him a birthday brat :X) a very happy 27th birthday!
Travel: End of Day Two and Day Three of Girls Gone Wild in KL!
Monday, August 29th, 2011
Do check out Day One and Part One of Day Two posts.
After checking out Full House, Jace and I walked around a bit and shopped before heading to our next makan place T-Bowl!
T-Bowl is a “toilet” concept makan place, I found it rather interesting! They had from toilet bowl seats to dishes served in bath tubs and toilet bowls. LOL!
Let the pictures do the talking

Thankfully Apple Hotel had wifi, I couldn’t find those data prepaid cards. As I’ll be heading to Malaysia pretty soon again, I am looking for a prepaid data card, best is if it’s for Blackberry. Does anyone know where I can get them in Malaysia? Do their 7Elevens sell them?
Anyway, we read that Bukit Bintang was fairly near our hotel. We walked to Bukit Bintang and explored Bukit Bintang and Sungei Wang.

First up, our outfits of the day!
