Back for another staycation at Quincy Hotel Singapore.

As some of you guys may know, I really adore staycations. You’ve probably read about a few of my staycations episodes in this Singapore Lifestyle Blog. And one of them was the Girly Staycation which I had with a few girlfriends last year.

We had stayed in Quincy Hotel back then and we had enjoyed the experience.

Imagine my surprise when my good friend Fidelis (who runs The Clover Fashion) had kindly invited Ching Chong Boy and myself to join her and Jeremy (her new beau) for a couple staycation at Quincy Hotel!

Fidel had managed to get us both bumped up from a Deluxe King to Deluxe Studio room. *SCORE!*

We were very pleased by the room. For me personally, I wasn’t surprised by the drinks and all since I’ve been here before but Ching Chong Boy was in shock.

Ccb: What? All these are free? And there’s wifi and free local calls? No way!
Me: Yes way! And… all meals are included!
Ccb: o.O We will never have to leave the hotel! It’s a REAL staycation!

I brought Ching Chong Boy around since he had never seen the hotel.

Needless to say, the bf was really pleased. We quickly refreshed ourselves and met up with Fidel+Jeremy for our next activity…. which was… Baking!

Part of this Qool weekend promotion was that special activities such as Yoga, Cupcake Baking and Movie nights were organised for guests should they wish to take part.

Needless to say, I happily dragged Ching Chong Boy. The lazy ass had wanted to take a nap after exclaiming how comfy the bed was. Too bad Ccb! :X

I had baked a few times for Ching Chong Boy and I was mad pleased that I could bully him to bake for me this time.

The nice instructor had showed us how to make lovely chocolate cupcakes and decorate them afterwards. Erm, I was no Shiberty when it comes to decorating cupcakes and as per my previous track record of erm, decorating cakes, I guess it was no surprise to see the end results.

It was really fun and we all got to take back at least 8 cupcakes! Quite a fun activity, suitable for everyone, be it families, dating couples or buddies 😉

We headed back to the room to take a quick nap and freshen up for dinner and movie!

And erm.. some camwhoring. Hurhur.

We met up with Kris+Ruifang and Fidel+Jeremy for dinner afterwards.

I changed into a comfy dress by The Clover Fashion.

From 6 – 8pm, there were free flow of alcohol and for dinner, there was free-flow of soup, bread and the yummy fruit salad.

We then adjourned to the indoor swimming pool area after dinner. They had transformed the area into a cosy movie screening venue. As tweeted then, the movie for the night was Moulin Rouge!

One could choose to sit on a float in the swimming pool or take their pick of the many comfy chairs available.

I think it was the sixth time I had watched Moulin Rouge but it’s still very enjoyable. After the movie, we had retired back to the room, hoping to catch the results of the Presidential Election however we found out that a recount was needed.

I decided to take a long soak in the bath tub then.

I couldn’t resist the lure of the comfy bed and fell asleep before the results were announced. I didn’t manage to catch McYammy on TV. BOOHOO!

Ching Chong Boy stayed up till 6am due to the numerous Nespresso shots he had consumed. Orbi! :X

I was rudely awaken by the bf because he was STARVING and had wanted to go for breakfast. Men! Unwillingly dragged to breakfast when all I wanted was to snooze a bit more. Pfffft.

For breakfast, it was a buffet spread unlike lunch and dinner where you can only order a main dish.

I don’t think these need any descriptions. 😉
