Wheeeee! New namecards!

Remember the last time I blogged about my previous batch of namecards?

It has almost been a year and I’ve just printed my third batch of namecards! With 2 different designs this time.

My second design was done by Gerald and my third and fourth design by Jayden!

2nd Generation: Design by Gerald. Matt lamination.

This time, I wanted something different and Jayden managed to capture what I wanted.

To be honest, I make a very lousy client, my “brief” to him was well.. very brief! LOL. I asked him to design 2 very different designs, 1 being a chirpy card that was “me” and the other, something more serious, perhaps with lace etc.

And here are the designs!

3rd Generation: Designed by Jayden. You can’t see it in this pic but there’s spot varnish on the front.

4th Generation: designed by Jayden. Spot Varnish on the back. (cloud) Reused the pic from 2nd design and flipped it. heh.

I had actually wanted to try gloss lamination for the 3rd and 4th batches but decided to try something else. Spot varnish turned out to be exactly what I wanted, matt lamination with a bit of gloss on specific parts. And it wasn’t expensive at all! For 2 boxes (200 pieces per design), I only had to pay $50 (as compared to the usual $24 for just old boring matt/gloss lamination).

And here are all 4 Generations of namecards.

Which is your favourite?

Btw, I printed my namecards at Tommy Print (where many other bloggers printed theirs too e.g. Claudia, Jayden, Rinaz etc). So far, I’ve gotten prompt and efficient service at Tommy Print and the prices are really reasonable too!

Do check out their website for more details on measurements and how to order etc.

On a side note, I was at Tommy Print today to work on something…

Can you guess what I’m working on? I can’t wait to see the end result!

Ah hah! Details will be out soon!
