The kind folks from QV and Nuffnang sent over their latest range of products for both Aidan and I.
You’ve probably noticed QV skincare in your favourite pharmacy. The Australia made product is specially formulated to cleanse and moisturise normal, dry or sensitive skin. QV’s range of gentle cleansers and moisturisers won’t strip or dry your skin. . Using QV every day can help to protect and moisturise your skin to ensure your skin feels its best all day.
I received the Body and Face range for myself and the Baby range for Aidan.
I suffer from eczema on my back. As a result, I get very dry and rough skin whenever my eczema flares up. Most of the time, it is due to environmental issues such as the hot weather or dusty locations.
I try my best to keep my back moisturised as much as possible to prevent a flare.
For my eczema, I use QV Gentle Wash and QV Cream.
QV Gentle Wash is a gentle soap-free cleanser that maintains the skin’s hydration during cleansing to ensure the skin is left feeling fresh and clean. I like the fact that it is a foaming liquid cleanser and makes showering enjoyable. Also, it’s pH balanced and free from fragrance, colour, lanolin and propylene glycol which makes it suitable for my eczema prone skin.
The QV Cream is a highly concentrated moisturising cream. The cream helps to soothe and replenish dry and sensitive skin. It protects against water loss by sealing in the skin’s own natural moisture.
Honestly, I like both products. I don’t find it greasy or oily unlike some moisturisers that I’ve used!
I was also given some products from the QV Face range.
QV Face Gentle Cleanser is enriched with Safflower oil that helps maintain and protect against moisture loss. Personally I like using light foaming cleansers, it just feels ‘cleaner’ to me. The cleanser has Vitamin E that helps improve skin elasticity and reduce roughness. It doesn’t leave my face feeling ‘tight’ after washing as it doesn’t strip away natural oils.
The QV Face Rescue Gel is specially designed for sensitive and tiredskin. I use it as a hydrating boost on days where I feel that my skin gets a bit irritated. It helps refreshes and cools my face.
The moisturising QV Face Day Cream is non-greasy and suitable for daily moisturising. It also contains SPF 30 and can be used under make-up or on its own.
QV Face Night Cream also contains Safflower oil which not only replenishes moisture but also helps improves one’s skin elasticity and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! It also contains a Vitamin B3 Complex to help reduce skin sensitivity.
I like the Face range as it’s not only moisturising but also very gentle to one’s skin.
Aside from the goodies sent to me, I also received the following products for Aidan. As Skai and I both have eczema, it is very highly likely that Aidan will suffer from it too :/ He has also been suffering from bad baby rash on his face and I’ve been searching for products that will be gentle to his skin.
The QV Baby Gentle Wash is recommended by paediatricians and is suitable for babies suffering from eczema. It is suitable for daily cleaning for both hair and body.
I used the QV Bath Oil daily in Aidan’s baths. It’s a water dispersible formula that helps restore the skin’s suppleness and healthy glow. I like that it helps hydrates his skin and also restore suppleness. I added a small amount in his baby bathtub everyday! Here we tried in a bigger bathtub and let him soak around with his little float!
The QV Baby Barrier Cream is a soothing, rich, protective barrier cream. I apply it often to prevent nappy rash and facial rash.
Last but definitely not least is the QV Moisturing Cream which is a highly concentrated cream which helps to relieve dryness and also helps to seal in the skin’s natural moisture.
I apply on Aidan’s body twice a day while baby massaging him. He really enjoys it especially when he’s on his tummy!
