As mentioned in my previous blog entry about my second honeymoon in Maldives, I promised to share the difference between All Inclusive, Full Board and Half Board packages in Maldives.

When we were researching about where to stay in Maldives, we were shocked at the many different types of packages available.

Thankfully, as we were no strangers to the Club Med concept (having visited Club Med Bintan and Club Med Phuket), we were able to wrap our heads around the various packages available.

Here's #nadskai's interpretation of the very many Maldives packages available!

As mentioned in our previous Maldives entry, we had to take a seaplane to our resort. Seaplanes do not come cheap, so when planning for your Maldives holiday, do try to choose a resort that comes with transportation, ideally a ferry service.

For us, we never tried a seaplane before and we had really liked our resort (not sponsored!) and a lot of other resorts were fully booked due to the high season. We decided to splurge in the end.

Honestly, the seaplane experience isn't anything spectacular. Skip it!

This was our view once we landed. Fell in love with the resort even before reaching our rooms!

While waiting to check in, we were served with a cool refreshment. Needless to say, the beer guzzling monster hubby chose a beer.

There are many sorts of accommodation in Maldives actually. You can choose from hotels to resorts. Most honeymooners would splurge on a villa in a resort.

Cost breakdown:
Air tickets to Male via Singapore Airlines - S$1,100
Seaplane transfer - S$1,200
Watervilla - S$5,900

There are beach vilas, which are on land and water villas like the picture above. Of course, a water villa would be the more sought after choice as it's not only Instagram worthy but it's really convenient when wanting to go for a swim. All you have to do is head for a swim from your balcony.

As some of you guys may know, I visited Maldives with Skai aka c(hubby) for our second 'honeymoon', or well our anniversary trip. (Honestly, we make up all sort of excuses just to travel)

The trip was sponsored by yours truly. Meaning laoniang paid from her own pocket. No sponsors lah dey. Only Skai got a free trip. To me, when I save money, I want to splurge on the people I love.

As a couple, we feel that we should travel when we are young and able. Read my post on why we should travel for some background info. That being said, make sure you are not broke lah. Spend within your means. I'm glad I managed to check off most of the things on my list. E.g. Wedding photoshoot, Wedding dinner, Europe Honeymoon and now, my Maldives Honeymoon!  Majority of our big purchases out of the way! Last would be our BTO, but honestly, it shouldn't be a problem.

We splurged for this trip. I didn't feel the pinch and honestly, it was well spent.

Cost breakdown:
Air tickets to Male via Singapore Airlines - S$1,100
Seaplane transfer - S$1,200
Watervilla - S$5,900

We managed to get a good deal via Singapore Airlines. Good service and good food.

You guys know how much I love traveling. We're headed for our next adventure in November to Cebu as I won a 3D2N trip via Cebu Airlines courtesy of a contest. Woo hoo! We only need to pay taxes. Heh!

And I bought SQ tickets to Maldives for 1st March 2015! #nadskai1314 was the wedding and now #nadskai1315 is our trip to Maldives! Second honeymoon? Hurhur!

I paid like $1093.80 for TWO via SQ during their promo and now it's $1847 for two. PHEW!

We're headed to Maldives for 6 nights in March next year! If you have ANY suggestions like accommodation, must-sees, activities, do comment in this entry please! We're doing our research now and would love any recommendations!

We're toying with the idea of a villa but wow, the prices o.O Would you guys recommend all inclusive packages or full board?

Also, am considering diving in Maldives. I only have an Open Water now though, is that enough? Or would it be recommended to get my Advanced first?

Thanks in advance!
