The sweet Fidelis invited me as her +1 for the Somersby Food Tasting Event some time back. She knew how big a fan I was of Somersby Apple Cider and how I was super raving about it! I even intro-ed BFF Jace to try it during one of our Mystery Makan sessions!
We arrived at Bliss House! (Exactly the same restaurant I chose for our Mystery Makan session! hurhur)
I was first greeted with a picnic basket with apples and yummy Somersby!
We were served with:
Refreshing Somersby Trio Bliss Cocktail:
Bubbly Bliss (Somersby Apple Cider with Celery Puree and Gin), Refreshing Bliss (Somersby Apple Cider with Gin and Grapefruit) and Sweet Ruby Bliss (Somersby Apple Cider with Pomegranate and Gin)
Am not a fan of Bubbly Bliss as the Celery taste was a bit overpowering however I really liked Refreshing Bliss and Sweet Ruby Bliss!

The Somersby Ploughman Salad was a lovely medley of fresh mesclun salad with tasty cheddar cheese, tangy cherry tomatoes, olive & Japanese cucumbers tossed lightly in refreshing Somersby Apple Cider Vinaigrette. I love salads and I thought that this was a smart way of combining Somersby with salads!
Indulge your senses was a lovely foie gras dish. A delicious pan-seared foie gras drizzled with Somersby Apple Cider reduction & lemon butter, served with puff pastry & arugula (rocket salad). LOVE THIS. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. I absolutely adore foie gras and this lovely dish totally melted in my mouth like butter. My only complain? Why so small? 🙁 They should make a main course out of this!
I liked the Pasta-Fantastica! It was a small serving size of succulent pasta, mixed with assorted flavor-some greens & minced pork infused with Somersby Apple Cider. There was a little hint of veal jus and I loved how bite sized this portion was! Didn't make me feel guilty about indulging in simple carbs!
Somersby's Three Little Pigs! Trio of pan roasted pork tenderloin with roasted capsicum, onion confit & proscuitto blanket asparagus with Somersby Apple Cider sauce. Didn't really enjoy this dish. Felt that the meat was a tad too tough for me.
A Blissful Finish. A refreshing end to the meal, we were served with poached pear in Somersby Apple Cider topped with a single delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream to sweeten your taste-buds. Am normally not a fan of poached fruits but I loved this! Very refreshing!
I never thought that you can utilise Somersby Apple Cider in so many ways! Totally wowed by the experience!
