The kind folks at Changi Airport invited Sparklette, DblChin and myself for a mini shopping trip at Changi Airport last month! Not only did they shared with us the respective great buys, I found out that we need not pay GST at Changi Airport as the airport absorbs the 7% GST. o.O This applies to all public areas too, you need not be flying to enjoy the special absorption deal!
During the National Day Celebrations (the time that we went), we enjoy double GST savings!
As long as one spends a minimum of S$20 in a single receipt, we enjoyed an extra 7% discount on top of the current 7% GST absorption!
We were given S$200 Changi Dollar Vouchers to spend! Very generous of them! I brought Ching Chong Boy with me to help me spend my moolah!
We visited various stores and found especially great savings in the Perfumes & Cosmetics Area, Jewelry and Bags!
If you sign up for the Changi Rewards card (which is FREE by the way!), you’ll get to earn reward points while you shop! These reward points can be exchanged for Changi Dollar Vouchers!
Not only that, the Changi Rewards card offer attractive rebates of up to 6.25%!
I enjoyed crazy savings when I shopped at Changi Airport! Just look at how much I paid for my Carlo Rino bag in the end!
From the usual price of S$195, there’s a huge discount! it’s now S$115!
After further discount.. it’s less than a hundred bucks! Damn cheap!
