WTF of the day : Team High Heel
Sunday, June 5th, 2011
Emma shared with me this link and I thought it was hilarious!
Something we don’t see in Boring old Singapore!
On a side note, I’m pretty sick of my old Canon point and shoot. Frankly, it sucks balls. Pictures taken are really bad. Am looking to purchase a new camera at the upcoming PC Show, preferably a prosumer.
Any recommendations?
WTF of the day: “What’s your biggest regret?” spoof video
Friday, April 29th, 2011
I was watching TPL’s Biggest Regret video and I couldn’t help but to do another spoof video.
Ok lah, only spoofed the front bits and added my own salt and pepper to the rest of the video. Could have done better but I’m always a one-take person. :X
When I first saw her video, I thought her mother died or something and she never managed to bring her mum to somewhere she wanted to go then I realised, her mum is alive and kicking! -_-”
Probably my last spoof video! An Outfit Of The Day post will be up soon! Featuring a Kate Spade bag of course!

WTF of the day: I don’t know what to say!

Because I was bored, I did a spoof (a bad version) of the infamous stomp feet video.
If you’re wondering, here’s the “original”.
O hey o hey o! Woh o woh o!

I first saw the Go Go Singapore contest from the banner displaying and thought it was interesting! Basically all you have to do is to submit a video for “Go Go Singapore!” cheer song and you’ll win instantly a $20 voucher! You can also stand a chance to win an Apple iPad and $200 worth of vouchers!
Awesome!
I decided to call Edmund aka Vandalin to help me with the video. Ching chong boy was horribly shy and said he’ll video us instead.

We basically had fun and decided to submit a very simple video! That’s the beauty of this contest, you can submit silly or fun videos (without it being professionally edited) and you already win a $20 voucher!
Before I showcase my video, here’s pics of the crew!

Me!

Silly Edmund who was so hyper!

The boy who kindly helped videoed us!
We met at Sengkang which Ed told us of a fab venue!

Had die die wanted to use my fab new umbrella thus you see the spinning rainbow at the front!

Here are some behind the scenes pics!

Stressing over the dance moves.

He kept suggesting doing the “running man” move!

Fooling around with the dragonball “move”.

My suggestion for the “Stand together, Singapore” move.

We are super uncoordinated. Hurhur.
Go try it out! Download the song here and submit your video here!
And have loads of fun! Send them in before 31 October! Pssssst. I hear from 1 – 14 November, there will be a “Guest the winner” contest!
Thanks Edmund and bf for the help! <3

Video filmed on the G11 and “edited” using Windows Movie Maker. Yes, I need editing lessons!
Truth or Fail – Nadia & Jayden edition
Sunday, July 18th, 2010[Advertorial]
Remember the previous entry on PSB? This time round, Jayden and I sat in a Bachelor of Science (Sport Science) class!
It was really interesting! As someone who occasionally participates in sporty activities, I really enjoyed myself!
What do you mean I’m not sporty at all?!?! I think I’m sporty at times wor! Evidence here!

I run occasionally! Participated in last years GE10k and Standchart 10km run. This year I’ve signed up for the Shape 10k run! I’ve also signed up for the Standchart 10km together with chingchongboy!

I blade and iceskate!

I enjoy water activities!

I love speed! Be it playing go-kart or on Ccb’s bike!

Recently, I just went on an open water diving course with Fidelis and I had so much fun! Unfortunately because I did not warm up properly before my dive, I suffered from bad muscle cramps. It was really scary! Did you know that muscle cramps are caused by improper warmup, excessive usage of a muscle, fatigue, stress or dehydration?
Did you know that you can learn about such information in a few of the modules in the Sport Science programme?
If you enjoy sports as much as I do, you should definitely pursue your interests and consider signing up for a Bachelor of Science (Sport Science)! The degree is good for people who live and breathe sports! I think it’ll be fun studying something you are really passionate about!
And in the meantime, do check out Jayden’s and my version of Truth or Fail! If you haven’t heard of Truth or Fail, you should totally smack yourself! Go youtube it!
So how well did you do? Let me know!
Last but not least, here are some fun facts about PSB!
PSB Academy is an official supporter of YOG 2010! UWA and PSB Academy are premier partners of The Singapore Arts Festival 2010 for the 2nd year running. A school that cares!
Vlogging your way! – Stand to win a SONY Bloggie!
Wednesday, May 5th, 2010[Advertorial]
As some of you guys know, I like vlogging and have done so for many pet projects.

3) It’s really easy to use plus you can also personalise your interactive features
4) A good platform to be recognised and also engage your viewers aka Crushers
5) Stand to win a SONY Bloggie!
Here’s how!
From now till 16 May 2010, sign up for a FREE vlogCRUSH account at www.vlogcrush.com! Afterwards just indicate my referral code (nadnut) in the registration form and one lucky reader will win a SONY bloggie worth $399! The best part – if my reader wins, I will win one too! Woooot!
I so love the pink Sony Bloggie. It just looks awesome!

It’s that simple! Now go SIGN UP! It’s FREE!
Here’s an example of a vlog that I did! My friends and I play poker every week thus we decided to have fun and just film a how-to video of how to play poker using the Sony BLOGGIE!
Pardon the amateurish attempt, we did not embelish the video with fanciful editing etc and you need not to do so too!
Many people think that vlogging is hard as you have to edit the videos, insert dramatic music, subtitles and funky animation. While, yes there are easy on the eye, I personally feel if you are going to do it regularly, just do a simple video. Let the content draw the readers or viewers in this case, back!
Done very imprompto. Just had the mood to vlog and I did! Hope this proves useful to you!
24 hours at Tangs.

Remember the times before mobile broadband ever existed? We could only surf the internet while at home/work/school. I felt really limited then. I remember whenever I got lost or needed to find some information urgently, I would try calling all of my friends in hope that someone would be at home and would help search for the information for me. I was such a pest back then!
Imagine if we had wanted to stay connected BACK THEN, we’ll be lugging around the very cumbersome phone wire everywhere!

Check out my video below!
And now!
Mobile broadband has proved to be an indispensable tool for me. I can hardly function without it now. The opportunities are endless! We can do almost everything with mobile broadband! Here are some places that I wish would have internet connection.

While at Sentosa, I can immediately share pictures of the beautiful scenery or even camwhore with my friends.
Plus, with mobile broadband, I can always keep a look out for any bad weather that’s coming! It sucks to be caught in the rain while trying to get a great tan at Sentosa.

Pulau Ubin is a perfect place for people like us to relax and enjoy the nature. A great place to get back to basics. But imagine how horrible it’ll be if one of us get lost at such a rural area? If I could access Google maps, finding my way around the place would be a breeze! No worries about getting lost anymore!

There’s a lovely spot in Changi where you can watch planes go by. Very nice paktor-ing place. *cough* I can video them down and upload on YouTube on the go! It’ll be done almost immediately and I can share those videos with my friends instantly!! Upload and watch videos easily! Not only that, I can watch videos to kill boredom while on the long journey home from there! I especially enjoy watching Kevjumba and Happyslip videos!

Oh, did I mention that a couple of days ago, I spotted a few eye candies while jogging at East Coast Park. If there’s internet connection there, I could not only take a picture and upload on twitter, I could also MSN my girl friends the picture of the cute hunk! A little eye candy everyday keeps the blues away.

I love the Henderson Wave Bridge! The structure of it is so interesting and I can’t help but to camwhore everytime I’m there. Good things are meant to be shared, so I would upload the photos to Facebook immediately! Who knows, maybe my friends would even come join me at the bridge when they see my updates!
Aside from all of those lovely places, here are some other things that I can do if I was living my life online anywhere and anytime!
- Online shopping
- Plurk
- Blog
- Skype
- Webcam
- Flickr
And here’s one place that I really wish would have internet connection…

The washroom! I can now even stay online even while… doing business! Might as well multi-task!
Everybody should…
