The kind folks from Kiehl's invited Fidelis and I to a night out at The Refinery.
The kind folks at Kiehl's invited me down to their anti-ageing event featuring the Powerful Wrinkles and Pore Reducing Cream and the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream.
I used Kiehl's Actively Correcting and Beautifying BB Cream to their event. Here are some swatches and pics!
As a huge fan of BB creams in general, I love and adore them because of their light weight texture, non clogging formula and their ability to leave a natural look as compared to liquid foundation.
Kiehl's BB cream did not disappoint me. Not only does it help to conceal my flaws (uneven skintone), it also does not feel greasy on my skin. I like that it manage to last throughout the day and the colour did not "oxidise" unlike certain creams.
Pictures with two lovely beauty bloggers during the Kiehl's event!
The super friendly Roseanne!
And the siao char bor Juli. (errr pls ignore my peakboo erm item.)
Love the BB cream! In fact, I think I'll be purchasing my second tube soon! We were invited to find out more about the Powerful Wrinkles and Pore Reducing Cream and the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream.
Let's face it, we can't stop ourselves from ageing. It is part and parcel of life, however we can try to reduce as much damaging effects and try to age gracefully. I'll be hitting thirty next year and honestly, I need all the help I can get.
With my size, it's easy to pass of as mid twenties or much younger but if I start to get wrinkles, it won't be able to help me hide my age anymore. The only good thing about being short, is I look young. Well, supposedly younger than most of my girlfriends :p
Kiehls shared with us the benefits of both of the Powerful Wrinkles and Pore Reducing Cream and the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream. The event was held at Fullerton Bay Hotel which had a fantastic view.
And it was hosted by George Young.
Which everyone had a great view of :p
They shared that it has been proven to improve elasticity by 32%! This is made possible due to their unique formula which uses ingredients like Calcium and Copper. Not only that, their products are Paraben-free, Fragrance-free and Mineral Oil-free!
They did a clinical survey on 50 women which showed visible results in 4 weeks! o.O
That wasn't the only thing that made our jaw drop. The kind people from Kiehl's also shared that they are going to offer lower prices effective April 2013! This is their way of giving back to the community.
Yes! Prices are shrinking!
These are the items that have had their prices slashed! (Do click to enlarge!)
Super great price savings! Do grab your favourites soon!
1. Dressed to impress
We are all dressed and styled by TANGS. We were given a $500 budget to spend and all of us look fantastic in our respective outfits. We all have a unique style and it is apparent from our outfits. Here's mine!
I'm wearing a jumpsuit, tshirt and jacket from Tokidoki and a cap from Superdry.
2. Pampered by Kiehl's
As mentioned in one of my earlier entries, we have pampered by Kiehl's with some great products and good loving by the Kiehl's boys.
3. Blogging on the....
We are currently blogging on the Lenovo U350 powered with Intel. While Lenovo U350 is rather sleek in design and is rather slim, unfortunately it runs on Vista, not my preferred weapon of choice.
4. Wild Cards.
We are all given a wild card which buys us 15 minutes. We can use the 15 minutes in anyway we want however if we choose not to use it, we gain 15 points. A tough choice for everyone.
5. Living Areas
There are 4 living areas decorated in various designs. The most spacious would have to be the Kiehl's space where most groups get to spend a good 12 hours there unfortunately Jayden and I are the only team to spend 6 hours there. 🙁
6. Toilet break.
Toilet breaks are extremely precious to us. We only have 10 minutes every 2 hours.
7. We come in all shapes and sizes
All 10 of us are chosen based on our various "expertise" in fashion and technology.
8. Coffee, Tea or Me?
Throughout this whole competition, the only drinks served are coffee, tea or water. Rather unfortunate for this blogger who drinks neither coffee or tea
9. Madness starts at 4am, Sleepiness kicks in at 7am.
Everyone started going hyper at 4am. Unfortunately, the worst period came at 7am where everyone was almost nodding off.
10. Night at the Tangs
Unlike at the Night at the Museum, the only "things" coming to life are the bloggers. While we had mad ideas of running around screaming or trying out all of the makeup, perfumes and all, we were kept in line by the very friendly crew.
And that's about it! Last 1.5 hours to go!!!!!
