Choosing the evening gown was really difficult for me due to my size! I had so much difficulty choosing the gowns and truth to be told, I wasn't so sure about my shortlisted gown.
But of course, that changed when I found my actual gown 2 weeks before #nadskai1314!
Remember my previous blog post about trying out the gowns during my pre-wedding photoshoot in Korea? As promised, I will share pictures behind the scenes after #nadskai1314! (Why after? cos I wanted to keep the pics a surprise for those who were going to see my album! heh) I had to like keep it a secret since May 2013 when I reallllly wanted to share pictures about it! TORTURING WOR!
So as mentioned previously, the pre wedding shoot was very "alacarte". The gowns came from A bridal shop. Hair and makeup came from B Makeup shop and the photographer and studio came from C Studio. Very different from Singapore's bridal studio style where it's a one stop centre.
We were ushered into the makeup area early in the morning and this greeted my sleepy eyes.
OHMAIGAWD. I NEED A MAKEUP AREA LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!
And soon, the makeup artiste did her magic and I was done.
Korean style of bridal makeup is very different from how Singapore's or Taiwan's style. Or at least, what I assumed from the bridal makeup shop I went to.
Things that they do not use:
Ampoules
Double eye lid stickers/glue
Lower eye lashes
They prefer much lighter makeup and I had to coax them to put it a littttttle bit darker makeup for me.
This to them is super dark already. LOL. I had a lady from the bridal shop that helped me dress up during the whole 5 hours (inclusive of makeup, hair and photoshoot). The same lady also was responsible for light touchups. i.e. no makeup change. Only touch up of lip gloss.
Feeling like a princess here as they were fussing over me about which tiara to use!
Have been so busy with #project1314 that I haven't found the time to blog. Oops!
Here are some quick updates!
We reprinted the extra invites we needed (though there was a long delay in that) and finally sent ALL of our invites out! Phew!

Can't believe that it will be our wedding this Saturday! On the actual day, the official hashtag is #nadskai1314. #project1314 is the planning stages while #nadskai1314 is the actual happenings!
Had a food tasting session and also chose our tablecloths, dinner plates then!
Loving the moodboard sent by I love Candy Buffet! I will be having a mini candy table at my wedding!
The search for THE gowns have been difficult! I kept changing my mind! hhahhaaha! Finally confirmed our outfits! I took SO many pics of the gowns I tried! Think I'll blog about them in a separate entry! LOL
