i was taken out to shashlik on sunday for my belated birthday dinner by someone who just wants to be known as thebeanmaster. (yes, obviously poking fun at my thetofukiller nick)
we shared a starter and the mushroom soup..
we tried the shrimp cocktail which was pretty delish.
we shared the mushroom soup which wasnt up to standard that day surprisingly. the soup was rather watery and tasteless.
after much discussion on what to have for the main course, from fish, seafood, shashlik to lobsters, we decided to steak (aye. pun intended) to shashlik’s specialty.
thebeanmaster decided to go for the airflown steak…
while i decided to scare my date off with my garlic breath. :P. unfortunately, the steak was more medium well then medium rare. perhaps the hot plate was really too hot? 😉
we decided to go for desserts *wink wink*
i had the peach melba which was absolutely delish. it consists of vanilla ice cream with peach slices. if your someone who doesnt really like tooooo sweet desserts, this is one for you.
my date decided to try the banana flambee. the waitress flambed the banana slices right beside our table and served it to him with vanilla icecream. i tried it and it was heavenly. the rum tasted gooooooood.
the meal came close to a hundred buckaroos. reminded me of the meal at my secret garden 😉
saw this silly sign at the lift. must be those pesky kids playing with the lift buttons all of the time…
had a delish birthday dinner 😉

Wahliao. Why do you keep putting up pics of food that remind me about how broke I am? Bloody *censored*, I like to bloody spend on food too! I should’ve taken pics of the huge amounts of meat I’ve eaten in Germany and pass on a little suffering to others.
