Some time back, I was invited to Rachel K’s Skin Care launch. I had the opportunity to not meet the extremely talented Rachel Kum herself but also to be one of the first few alongside bloggers like Thiang, Carrie and Jessica to preview her exclusive See The Difference range.
Famous makeup artist and fellow beauty blogger Sarah from FacesofSarah demonstrated how to use the products.
Pictures with my friends before I move on to review the products!
Rachel Kum shared with us about the Swiss Apple Stem Cell extract which was one of the latest and most advanced anti-ageing ingredient which helps protect skin cells against oxidative stress and repairs damaged DNA.
This prized extract is one of the star ingredients in her latest See the Difference Skin Care range and is extremely affordable for the masses.
The Stem Cell Purifying Cleansing Gel (80ml) retails at S$19 and is formulated to boost the natural performance of human skin stem cells. For people with extremely dry skin like me, it helps prevents the loss of moisture. It also contains witch Hazel and Aloe Vera to help soothe and refresh the skin.
The Supreme Whitening Lotions (80ml) retails at S$24 acts as a toner and helps whitens one’s skin and refreshes dull complexion.
As someone who really adores serum, I found The Intense Multivitamins Booster (S$32 for a 30ml bottle) a delightful treat. Anything with Vitamin C, I’m sold! The booster contains a high concentration of Vitamin C which most of you all should know this by now.. promotes collagen renewal! Not only does it help lighten and brighten one’s skin, it also contains Vitamin E, Vitamin F, seaweed and Zinc which helps to stabilise and soothe the skin!
The Youth Spell Day Cream (30ml) retails at S$29. It helps to re-generate one’s skin and rejuvenates one’s skin. Texturewise, it isn’t sticky and is absorbed rather quickly imho.
With the day, there’s always the night. Night creams are usually richer as it’s also absorbed by the skin at the most optimal time when the skin (and body) rests and recovers. Rachel K’s Midnight Miracle Night Cream retails at the same prize as it’s Day Cream counterpart: S$29 for a 30ml bottle. It boasts to help improve the quality of all skin types especially oily and irritated ones and is supposed to help decrease shine upon daily use. As my skin is extremely dry, I have no shine problems whatsoever, heh so no shine reducing for me. 😉
The Youth Eye Complex (15ml) retails at S$35. It helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and delay signs of ageing. I have yet to see any results but I’m still extremely hopeful!
The last item but the star item in my opinion is The Instant Vibrant Glow Hydrogel Mask that retails at S$5.90 per piece. I LOVE THIS ITEM. For my dry skin, it’s godsend! After a single use, I felt my face more moisturised and softer! Am so stocking up on this for my ROM!
