Remember the previous entry? I took some pics of my outfit and found it a complete waste if I didn't post it up.
If you were wondering about the name of the outfit "Birds fly high", it's because of my birdy top! And also, the usual poem "Birds fly high, hard to catch. Friend like you, hard to forget!"
As some of you readers may remember, the girls and I have a Mystery Makan outing going on. Each of us would take turns planning makan outings and would only reveal the address on the day itself with no other details. With the Mystery Makan tradition, we visited new places and tried new food! It’s really fun and we all look forward to our Mystery Makan sessions.
I’m so glad that i thought of this! Here are some blog entries on our previous Mystery Makan sessions!
I have been extremely tardy with my entries. Apologies! This time, it was Esther's time to organise the Mystery Makan session! This time, we met up near Chinatown in this quaint and cosy little bar. Once I saw the place, I immediately knew why Esther chose it! The outdoor area was really pretty, perfect place to camwhore!
But as we were all starving and the weather was so so so so hot, we decided to eat indoors before going out to camwhore!
2013 is a new year for me! I've changed stylist to the lovely Caely Tham. Remember Caely? Really petite and pretty lady!
So... For my first appointment with Caely, i was feeling lost as I didn't know what to do with my hair. My previous colour had faded then and my hair was looking messy.
As mentioned in my previous post, the kind folks at ICON and the Sofitel group hosted the hubby and me for 2 nights at Sofitel Krabi. We extended a few more nights out of our own moolah.
After the lovely time in Bangkok, where we shopped and ate to our hearts' content, we took a flight to Krabi. It was our first time to Krabi. Most of the times, we usually visit Phuket instead.
Some info about Krabi:
Krabi is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, at the shore of the emerald of the Andaman Sea. Dramatic limestone cliffs veil the wonders of ancient sea cave. Dense mangroves give way to waterfalls touched by the warmth of the sun. Most notable of Krabi are the solitary limestone hills, both on the land and in the sea as islands such as Phi Phi Island, Chicken Island, Hong Island, and other amazing unseen islands which are well-know around the world.
Friends all told me that Krabi was more laid back and perfect for honeymooners We thought it would be a welcome change especially after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. We checked into Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa shortly after we arrived.
Sofitel Krabi is located 40 minutes away from the airport and the journey was rather smooth without any hiccups.
The hotel is decorated in timeless French colonial style, all rooms and suites have a spacious bathroom, imported French bath products. We spotted Hermes products! o.O
