A few of us were joking about #taitaitime previously. It started when Esther, Fidel, Jace, Carrie, Rachie and I were having yummy cakes at Crowne Plaza Hotel. We were enjoying ourselves drinking tea and nomming on cakes. We thought to ourselves, how nice it was to be able to spend some time with our girlfriends.

Thus began the term #taitaitime. From now on, most of us will be searching for lovely places to enjoy tea and “taitai” time with our gfs!

Fidelis and I visited Halia Restaurant located at Raffles Hotel not too long back. We ordered the Afternoon Tea Set.

I think it’s the perfect set to order with your gfs. Lots of variety and a little something for everyone.

We also ordered tea and spent the lovely afternoon chit chatting about our nonsensical significant others (both of them are born on the same day!), houses (we both are gonna stay in Punggol) and our upcoming weddings!

We soon felt peckish and shared Halia’s famous Chilli Crab Spaghettini which I tried the last time I visited Halia for a tasting!

Too sinful to devour on your own. Always best to split carbs and calories with a girlfriend!

What a super delightful teatime! Highly recommended you try the Afternoon Tea Set! It’s only available from 3pm – 5pm though!

Am still on the lookout for more yummy #taitaitime places for my girlfriends and I. Let me know if you know any! In the meantime, check out The Halia at Raffles Hotel:
