Jamie Oliver at Forum Orchard Road

A few months ago, Skai and I were invited for a dinner tasting at Jamie's Italian at Forum, Orchard Road. We've heard so much about Jamie Oliver's restaurant but this was actually our first time in one of them.

[Invited Tasting]

Skai and I were invited alongside other bloggers for a food tasting event at Crowne Plaza Crab and Crepe some time ago. Unfortunately yours truly has been rather tardy in reviewing this and the buffet is no longer available. In any case, I really liked the pictures taken that day and would like to share them for memory sake. LOL

Honestly, I was feeling very bad that day during food tasting. I was having bad morning sickness coupled with migraines and basically puked the whole damn day. But I had promised Carrie that I would attend the food tasting and still appeared nonetheless.

Skai was basically my tastebuds that day as I was feeling extremely queazy and unwell. Azur (one of our favourite places for food tastings) brought together Crabs and Crepes (both sweet and savoury) for a buffet! Here are some items where c(hubby) aka Skai savoured!

[Invited Tasting]

I was invited alongside the girls for a dinner tasting at Salt Tapas & Bar. I have actually visited Salt Tapas & Bar for a tasting many years ago and was excited to see what new offerings the new Executive Chef Ronald Li will be implementing in Salt Tapas & Bar's menu.

Not to be confused with Salt Grill & Sky Bar, the menu at Salt Tapas & Bar focuses on modern Tapas with an Australian twist (inspired by Chef Luke Mangan's culinary personality) and focuses on communal dining.

[Invited Food Tasting Event]

Carrie, Esther and I were invited by Food News and The Missing Pan for a food tasting event. Fidel was also invited but at the eleventh hour, she couldn't make it.

The Missing Pan is tucked in a little shophouse in Bukit Timah. Don't be fooled by it's exterior like I did! I saw an organic bakery on the first floor! Upon going in, i realised that the brasserie was located on the second floor. It's an extremely cozy and private dining area. Perfect for romantic dates and if you prefer a bit of privacy with your friends. Good place to catch up! The Missing Pan can only offer a 26-seater capacity.
