Just because I'm pregnant, doesn't mean I will stop on my pampering beauty treatments! I did slow down on treatments as it's really tiring these days.

Taking note of that, I discussed with both my beauty sponsors on how to prolong my treatments. I also took note by using a face mask whenever I go for treatments as my sense of smell did get a tad sensitive during pregnancy.

For Milly's, my nails sponsor, they suggested a minimalistic simple gelish nail design that could last quite a while even with growout.

And they did! This design lasted me for more than a month and looked as good as new!

Every year during Christmas and CNY, I would pamper myself by getting my nails and hair done. This year it's no exception.

However it seems that I went the opposite direction as compared to 2014! Last year I lightened my hair considerably! Played with reds and even went blonde! This year, I actually did not visit Caely for the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy. I visited her much later and even then, I told her not to touch my roots.

I usually prefer to visit Milly's with one of my #MysteryMakanGirls Esther or Fidelis as it's always nice to do nails and chit chat with them.

Sometimes we even try to get mitchy-matchy (a more endearing way of saying matching) nails together!

This time, I visited Milly's with Fidelis! And we decided to have the same nails design! I left the design up to Fidelis and she chose this donuts design.

Look at how it turned out for both of us!

Have you managed to make appointments to get your nails done for Chinese New Year? If not, better do so soon! Milly's nail design slots have been fully booked from 15th to 18th Feb! Currently 9th to 14th Feb is still available. Book soon!

For me, every Chinese New Year nails is actually a hybrid as my birthday usually fall close to CNY.

Usually I'll settle for a Bday cum Vday cum Chinese New Year design. This year as CNY is almost 2 weeks after my birthday, I decided to opt for a design that can last for at least 3 weeks. Meaning, it'll grow out nicely e.g clear base.

I also wanted something sweet (for Bday and Vday) and yet incorporate my lucky colours for 2015 (yellow, white, gold and brown) and some Cheena elements (e.g. for CNY, it's stuff like oriental flowers or lucky cat or the animal of the year or angbao etc)

I looked thru a few designs and found exactly what I wanted! Corine designed it for me perfectly. I love it! She painstakingly drew every single detail one by one. LOVE IT!

It's sweet, whimsical and cute! Contains my lucky colours and is cheena enough for CNY with the playing cards! Plus with the clear base, it'll last longer!

Milly's never fails to disappoint!

Check out the other interesting nail art that I've done with Milly's!
