As you guys may know, my hair has been under the watchful eye of Caely Tham. She has taken care of my colours, treatments and cuts for years now and she has seen the ups and downs.

After I gave birth to Davina, I visited Caely 2 months after my confinement. I bemoaned to her about my postnatal hair state. Like with Aidan, the condition of the hair became unruly, rough and dry at the ends. Soon, postnatal hairloss would start. Oh my tian.

I came to Caely with disheveled hair which was pretty much entangled despite putting on hair oil and combing my hair.

Caely recommended Leekaja's in-house keratin treatment called the Cinderella treatment. It is a keratin treatment alongside keratin ironing. The treatment contains an unique blend of organic aloe vera and onion, which helps make up moisturising ingredients to help repair the hair before sealing in the keratin in.

Not only is it suitable for bleached hair, it also does not give ramrod straight effects. In fact, it looks more a good blow-dry or soft rebonding.

The best thing? It lasts for 2 months. All mamas should go for this treatment, who has time to style your hair when busy with the kids? This treatment ensures the most fuss free approach! I also opted for a trim to keep things simple. Here's the final results!

I love the final result! I spend less than 5 minutes on my hair now and it looks blowdried all the time!

Thank you Caely!

As some of you guys may know, I have a regular hairstylist Caely Tham. She has taken care of my hair for about 4 years now and I'm very comfortable with her. Especially so when she had to deal with my weird hair during pregnancy and postnatal hair loss.

FYI, mums go thru lots of hair changes during and after pregnancy. The texture and condition all changes. Caely has been wonderful throughout and has taken good care of my hair.

When she first told me that she was moving to Leekaja Beauty Salon, I was relieved to find out that it was located nearby. (I was so scared that she will move to ulu pandan or something! HHAHA)

Leekaja Beauty Salon is conveniently located at Mandarin Gallery, a stone's throw away from Caely's previous salon.

I was wowed when I first arrived at Leekaja. It was HUGE. Leekaja is much bigger than most salons that I have visited and they offer a wide range of beauty services thus the name Leekaja Beauty Salon. It is basically a Korean one-stop beauty solution salon.

Some of the services that they provide are hairstyling, nail, eyelash, makeup and barber services. But fret not, their prices are very competitive!

I felt very pampered when I arrived at Leekaja. I was offered a light snack and refreshment just incase I was peckish and thirsty.

I was quite shy to see Caely as it had been quite some time since I visited her. My hair was a mess and I hadn't taken care of my roots as regular as I should.

At that time I was also in the early stages of my pregnancy. I whispered to Caely and after all the congratulations and hugs, she whisked me away to a private area away from all the chemical smells.

We discussed options and decided to go for a healthier hair colour without touching my roots alongside the Tokio Inkarami Hair Treatment to tame my very unruly hair.

Caely shared that the Tokio Inkarami Hair Treatment helps to restore damaged hair to healthy hair by an amazing hair repair strength of up to 140%! The treatment has also a Nobel Prize Ingredient called Fullerene which is the world's strongest anti-oxidant to fight aging and humidity!

The Tokio Inkarami Hair Treatment consists of a few steps to help increase the supply of keratin, to make the hair stronger and also increases the supply of CMC & Ceramide 2 to help regain silkyness and shine and lastly to help repair the hair cuticles.

I also brought home the Tokio IE Home Care products which helps to increase keratin protein buildup in my hair while protecting my cuticle from external stresses and improves muster and smoothness.

Even after bleaching my hair so often, my hair is strong and healthy! All thanks to the wonderful hands of Caely and using the Tokio Inkarami products!

This is the final outcome after my experience at Leekaja Beauty Salon. Caely refreshed my colour without touching my roots. She gave me a lovely dark colour coupled with some bits purple and pink.

Although I'm a mother now, doesn't mean I'm not hiao. LOL.

How has your preparation been? I'm all prepared on the hiao front like clothes, hair, nails but my house is still not clean!

Panicking a bit actually. Last few days to tidy up the mess!

On the hiao-front, I've gotten my hair and nails done! A few weeks ago, I visited Caely, my stylist from Shunji Matsuo 313. I super buay tahan my outgrown roots and wanted to touch up my hair. She bleached my roots and gave me a darker colour so that my whole hair colour would be even-ed out rather than be patchy. It will lighten in time and then it's time to play with colour again. WOOHOO!

Here's the end result!

She had also customised a Shu Uemura Master Ceremony Treatment to help strengthen my hair and also reduce dryness from bleaching.

If you look at my hair now, you will never guess that it has been bleached plenty of times within 6 months and coloured over and over again. Healthy hair yo!

Feel free to show Caely any of my pics if you are looking to get this colour too! And as usual, when you quote my name Nadia or nick nadnut, you'll enjoy 10% off chemical services!

Also, do check out my Shunji Matsuo 313 hair journey here:

I then visited Milly's at the Suntec City branch to get my nails pampered. Went through a classic manicure and pedicure where my cuticles were trimmed and had some lovely nail art! This time, I opted for gelish with a bright and cutesy design of chicks, eggs and hearts!

As a full time working mother, I hardly have time for myself. Coupled with the fact that Aidan is sticky, and I'm a clingy mama, I hardly find time to blog, exercise or elaborate skincare routines. It’s really tough being a working mother. In addition to being a mother – which is tough enough as is! – I’m also working at the same time.

When I do things such as head out for a dinner with girlfriends or out for a yoga class, I'll feel extremely guilty leaving Aidan behind with my husband/mother-in-law/mother. It feels like I'm neglecting him to enjoy, you know?

Same goes with say blogging at home or taking time to do elaborate skincare routines. When Aidan sees me and if I'm not attending to him, he tends to cry badly. Especially now that he is teething. He is extremely cranky.

I'm not complaining, I enjoy every moment with him. Just that, I hardly have time for myself. But yet, I feel 'sad' that I no longer have time for myself. My skin, nails and hair has taken such a backseat as compared to last time. I never ever had my roots grow out back then nor have I ever not indulged in a good mask weekly. Working late nights and staying up late for baby has worsened my eye bags and dark eye circles. I also find that my frown lines have deepened – this must be because I’m under constant stress and worries most of the time.

Now? I touch up my hair like once in 3 months? (in comparison to every 3 weeks back then) and I have not seen a facial mask since I gave birth. I mean, how the heck can I ever find time to lie back and relax for a good twenty minutes? LOL. I also feel that my skin has looked a tad worse for wear these days. 🙁

I was glad to have been introduced to the Olay's latest launch, the Olay Regenerist Miracle Duo. The duo consists of the Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essense and the Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting cream.

What I like about these products is that it's easy and fast to use.

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

IMG_1157

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream is Olay's most advanced and award-winning best selling Regenerist anti-aging cream.

IMG_4017

I read that it is the result of over 50 years of Olay research and formulated with the most concentrated Amino-Peptide Complex and Hydra-Firming Complex to lift, firm and micro-sculpt your look for younger looking skin.

IMG_1183

I used this after using the Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence! Aside from renewing the skin's surface layer, it also helps reducing wrinkles and fine lines. It also helps hydrates the skin to help plump and firm skin! Perfect for my dry skin!

IMG_4011

Can't wait to see how my skin will improve after prolong usage of the products!

The Olay products that I've shared is available in popular stores such as Guardian and Watsons stores, and also here on Lazada!

Thank you Nuffnang and Olay for sending these products to me!

By the way, I did a simple video for Olay recently. Do check it out here!
