As mentioned in my previous post, we had a staycation at Orchard Hotel 2 weeks prior to my ROM.

We had a lovely guest relations officer who attended to us when checking in and made sure that everything went well. Definitely one of the hotels with good customer service! *thumbs up*

Part 2 of the Girly Staycation entries!

Remember I asked you to guess why our room was so messy?

It was because we had mini makeovers, played dressed up and had a manicure session!

We all brought our makeup sets over. I had brought over 8 Majolica Majorca eyeshadow palettes amongst other Majolica Majorca goodies. Jacelyn and Fidelis also brought some of their Ettusais stuff too!

Some pictures of the session!

We girls really had fun! Sweet Jacelyn helped Sabrina and I with our untidy brows and Fidel gave Sab a makeover!

My unglam face while putting on makeup!

My final look!

I had told Esther about a marbling technique for the nails and she was so intrigued about it then she decided to do it for us during the staycation!

Some pics!

First paint a base colour..

Drip a few colours in sequence. E.g. Drip white, then pink then purple then white again, pink and purple.

Then using a stick (or a pin in our case), draw a line.

Dip your finger in.

By right, you should have used tape to paste around your nail bed so that it won't stain your fingers. Marbling is really a messy affair! Way easier to just pop by to Milly's for a manicure! :p

We took a crazy loads of pictures that day because I brought a Canon Selphy Photo Printer!

Absolutely adore the G11, I influenced Jacelyn to get one too! Muahahahaaa. It's a great cawhore camera!

We played dress up too! Check out the next entry for pics!

4 days of celebration - The pre-celebration
4 days of celebration - Kidnapped to Wanderlust
4 days of celebration - Wagyu Steak at Pan Pac
4 days of celebration - Surprise party at St James

It was hard waking up for breakfast. Both of us did think of skipping breakfast and sleeping in. After all, we did crawl back "home" at 5am in the morning.

However, I managed to summon some willpower and FORCED myself to wake up. And yes, I had to kick the birthday boy out of bed to get up.

The package we took had breakfast included.

Menu.

For breakfast, they serve:

Buffet selection of cereals, breads, pastries and yoghurt.

A choice of a main:
- Homemade waffles and maple syrup
Served with a choice of bacon or chicken chipolatas
- Eggs
Choice of scrambled, poached, omelette or sunny side up.
Served with a choice of bacon or chicken chipolatas, grilled tomatoes and grilled mushrooms
- Norwegian smoked salmon & cream cheese chive bagel
Served with capers, sliced red onion and fresh dill.

Juices, coffee and tea.

Needless to say, the boy and i chose the omelette!

It's really yummy! Go for the omelette!

Ching chong boy and I really enjoyed breakfast there! We'll definitely head back soon! (this is NOT an advertorial. I paid for the whole hotel stay. Am raving about Wanderlust and Cocotte because I really enjoy the staycation there.)

After the great breakfast, we soon packed up and checked out. But this isn't the end of the celebration for him... next post! The buffet dinner...

Pictures were taken with the G11.
