As some of you guys may know, Skai works in the army. As an uniformed personnel, he has to wear boots every working day. Because he has to spend long hours in boots, he prefers to dress casually to rest his feet on non-working days. Mostly slippers, much to my dismay as it can get realllllly casual and not suitable for certain places we’ll like to visit.

Skai and I were invited by the kind folks from GEOX to choose a pair of shoes each. Well, technically Skai did not get to choose cos I decided to choose for him! HAHAHAHA #wifewannaplaydressup
I chose a pair of black loafers (Snake Moc 2Fit) for Skai! I find loafers are very trendy and suitable for our lifestyle. He can pair it with shorts or even with pants (no socks please!) with a nice dress shirt. Skai usually sticks to the norm e.g. sneakers and I was determined to change his sense of dressing. LOL
He was surprised at how comfy the loafers were! We chose black so that he could pair it easily. Bye bye boots! The best thing is that his loafers are waterproof! Really convenient for our erratic Singapore weather.
Hello loafers! Here’s how he styled his outfit! (seriously, I left it all to him!) He matched it with a nice blue polo tee with shorts and the loafers. We chose the black loafers so that he can pair it easily with most outfits!
Skai was extremely intrigued by the shoe soles! We soon realised that the perforated soles helped make the shoes very ‘breathable’ which made it very comfy for him! Compared to boring old stuffy boots, the loafers were literally a breath of fresh air for him!
I love how preppy and yet trendy he looked. He gushed over and over again about how comfy the loafers are and is now bugging me to buy more GEOX shoes for him. We also got our friend Colin to take some pics and here is Skai posing with the loafers!
I chose for myself a pair of black ballet pump (Carey B) with a gold heel.
I love the kitten heels! It’s also very comfortable! Personally I dislike wearing covered shoes for long as I feel that my feet can’t “breathe” and it’s extremely hot! But with the Carey B, I do not face this problem! I love how trendy the design is! I can match it for work with formal wear to dressy clothes for a nice dinner to casual wear with jeans!
Pretty shoes and yet extremely functional. These are my go-to shoes for all occasions now! Everyone has a LBD (little black dress), I have my LBS (little black shoes)!
I paired it with a light blue dress here for a nice brunch with Skai! Here’s our GEOX #ootd (outfit of the day)! Both pairs are from the Fall/Autumn collection! We had such a hard time choosing them as there were so many beautiful choices available. Gosh! I want them all! And in all colours!
