Explore Singapore during this holidays!

I’ve just finished my last paper last week and right now, I’ve been thinking of how to keep myself busy this holidays. Recently I’ve attended a media preview of Explore Singapore organised by the National Heritage Board and have found out different ways to keep myself occupied with the activities that they’ve organised.

Is anyone a fan of the Dim Sum Dollies?

On this coming Saturday, the Dim Sum Dollies would be performing at the National Museum of Singapore! Kill 2 birds with 1 stone! Catch the dollies and visit the museum with Dim Sum Dollies Day Out!

Another very interesting event would be the Wrap! Festival located at the Asian Civilisation Museum. There will be a special performance by Nanta (which was touted as Asian’s version of STOMP), yummy desserts, a Dikir Barat performace and be serenaded by Jack and Rai from EIC. There will also be a magic shoow, bouncing castles, face painting and balloon sculpturing for the little ones!

Aside from those key activities, I’m pretty interested in the following events. Would prefer to go down with someone, so if there’s anyone interested, please do let me know!

Customise your very own teddybear in this fun workshop at a Bearie Bear Workshop on 26 November, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Suria’s celebrity Chef Khaled would be demonstrating how to cook delicious Malay dishes like botok-botok ikan, bubor terigu and sambal tumis udang on 6 December, 3pm – 5pm.

For more information about the events I’ve listed or to check out other events, do visit the official website here. Also do find out how you can stand a chance to win a Subaru Forester here! Thanks to H&K and NHB for the invite!
