The birth of Blogger’s Sweets…
Saturday, June 28th, 2008This isn’t the first time I’ve worked with Jayden on a video. The first time was for Nuffnang’s Birthday Party.
Actually Jayden and I have been talking about working together for ages! Since last year? But we only managed to really start working together after his graduation. Blogger’s Sweets is totally Jayden’s brainchild, his baby.
Initially there were soooo many ideas! From comedies to spoofs to talk shows! After much discussion, we finally decided on a talk show for we felt it brought more interaction. If you were wondering why we chose the name Blogger’s Sweets, well in the first place, we were talking about collaborating with Sabrina and Podfire but after much talks, for now, we’ve decided to do it on our own.
Honestly handling the whole project on our own, on our rather lean team was quite taxing especially for Jayden. The poor guy had to play cohost, editor, scriptwriter, director, etc etc etc etc and he’s in NS!
The Nuffnang Happy Birthday and NG’s videos!
Tuesday, March 18th, 2008So…. while I’m still waiting for pics from the rest, here’s Jayden’s and my video for Nuffnang!
Basically we were approached to come out with Happy Birthday vids for Nuffnang and Jayden and I decided to combine our “powers!”. (Apparently a lot of Nuffnangers thought that Jayden was my brother! Woot! I could only wish to have such a talented brother like him! Plus he can always photoshop my pics! *cough*)
If you found the video familiar, it’s because the idea was from our big idol! Happyslip! Wooot! And of course our video is nowhere as good as hers.
Credit goes to Fabian for being our patient videographer and Jayden for doing his amazing magic in editing it! We thought that the video was a bit too long though for some people looked bored. Oops!

I always wanted to try my hand at videocasts (or vodkasts as i call it) and estee managed to get us some camcorders for the day!
3 whole vids!
Estee had spoken so much about this place Oohtique and she finally brought me there!
First vid is all about checking out the place. I spotted some nice dresses and lingerie! It’s also a costume store! DON’T listen to Estee! I meant staying at home with a home cooked meal. Estee and her naughty mind!
Second vid is all about the R21 room, which definitely does not have anything for the children, no children costumes!. I got a shock when I saw the room. I was amused with the pasta boobs but seriously what’s with the Caterpillar erm, vibrator? or was it a dildo?!
Third vid is all about adult costumes!

Thursday, January 10th, 2008quite some time ago, i met up with a few of the barflies for dinner and dessert at katong.
they were all late! bah.
anyway, outfit of the day.
I love this teeshirt! (close up later) paired with skinny jeans and my fave white heels (which broke. argh)

we headed to astons and i won’t be doing a review for that since i did one previously.
it’s a pity it wasn’t as great as last time though.
anyway the highlight of the day was icecreamchefs. a note of caution: the place was a little “ulu” to me.
i have heard so much about the place and i was mustering up my courage to ask if i could have a chance at doing my mix in for myself.
but turns out the place was packed that day! and i chickened out. damn.
anyway we spotted cute tiny chairs near the counter!

yes i can!
basically i chose 2 flavours (hershey’s chocolate & peanut butter) and 2 toppings (cornflakes and koko krunch) to mix in and even took a video of it. the guy who served me, blue eyes was very nice and explained to me patiently on what’s the procedure like.

i love the icecream. i thought that it was really innovative that we could mix in different and flavour. it’s really a unique concept and it’s really delish!
my only gripes was that the place was too cramped and the “ulu” location. i can’t imagine organising a huge ass outing there man. the staff were great, friendly and cheery which totally brightened the atmosphere. tastewise was fabulous! i would love to have another go at their icecream!
it’s pretty obvious that my friends enjoyed themselves too!
