This is a Monday's Musings - Random thoughts, feelings and musings by Yours Truly entry under my themed blog posts! For more info about the themed blog posts, do read the entry here.

I think most of my Monday's Musings entries comes from real life experiences. When irked, amused, I think it makes good content for Monday's boliaoness posts.

During a brunch tasting on Saturday, I was discussing this topic with Esther, Elaine and Shasha. Well, mainly I jabbered nonstop about it. We talked about the importance of the group settings.

I think most people do not think much about Group Dynamics. But I do. I go into extremes about it.

For example, the selection of my bridesmaids. I chose all bloggers who had something in common. I did have other close friends that I did consider as bridesmaids but thought that the group dynamics would be weird with the rest, so I didn't ask them.

Also, for Montigo Resorts. Skai and I had an extra room. We did ask a few couples but they weren't free. Instead of offering to other couples that we knew, we decided to waste the room instead.

Why? Cos the group dynamics would be wrong. Would be weird. Would not be comfortable.

This is why I emphasise on group dynamics :

Bad group dynamics leads to low morale and low engagement.

When people get uncomfortable, they do not react well. They'll won't be themselves and they would want to end the event or gathering fast. Have I left earlier from bad group dynamics settings? Plenty of times. Most of my blogger pals may agree with me. For plenty of blogger events that we weren't comfortable with, we'll leave earlier. (This may not apply for men, I find men usually have a thicker skin and a more bochup attitude. :p)

Bad group dynamics leads to unhappiness and low productivity.

Very true. One of my colleagues once mentioned attending a food tasting with weird company. Uncomfortable scenarios, weird feelings, unhelpful people leads to unhappiness. Why low productivity? When there are bad group dynamics, people might not be comfortable in volunteering for tasks, uncomfortable feelings leads to unsatisfactory events. Irritating indian chief? Would other people get involved in the task? Maybe not.

I was once placed in a scenario where it was very weird group dynamics. Sent a few emails, no one bothered to reply. Gave a few chasers, no one cared. In the end, I couldn't even give a flying fuck about that project. This is why I preferred to work in individual projects rather than group projects back in School.

Unless, we had a "solid" team, I rather run solo. Do not underestimate the importance of group dynamics.

And yes, this is yet another boliao musings post by yours truly as it was sparked by something that happened recently. Ah well. I guess I'm just feeling #underhappy.

Sometimes I think no one gets my type of humour. I would be chuckling madly to myself and I don't think anyone else gets my jokes. BLEAH.

Anyway, I was playing Hearthstone sometime back with some of my friends. And they were talking about this gamer DeerNadia. Well, I'll let you guys read the screenshots yourselves!

I mean, I seriously do. Well, technically I AM old. Almost hitting the big 3 next year. GG MAX.

Anyway, I digress too much. I used to feel full of energy.

Be a chatterbox and carry on a full conversation nonstop? No problem!
Talk to the boyfriend for HOURS on the phone? No problem!
Go out with a huge group of people? No problem!
Work till late, surviving on 4 hours of sleep everyday? No problem!

Go clubbing, fall asleep half way. Got problem.
Drink 5 glasses of alcohol. Cannot tahan anymore. Need to go home. Got problem.
Stay out late? Mai la. Auntie rather stay at home watch Running Man. Got problem.

In a bid to get the Ching Chong Hubby to be more involved in my blog, I have asked him to start blogging on www.nadnut.com

Needless to say, he was very hesitant as he has never blogged before. But the one thing that sets aside Ching Chong Hubby apart from other boyfriends or husbands is that he is one of the most supportive partner ever. He is always game to attend events with me be it to listening to product reviews or even cooking classes or basically mundane stuff to him. Yes of course, he loves the usual food and travel events. He is a bigger foodie than me! Honestly speaking, he is harder to please when it comes to food and drinks. LOL.

Not only does he attend events for me, he has always assumed the photographer roles when it comes to these events. I can always trust him to take pictures while I talk to the PR people or toy around with the products.

And now.... jeng jeng! He will be helping to review certain stuff! The reason why I tweaked www.nadnut.com to be a lifestyle blog instead of specialising in food or beauty is that I wish to document as much as possible of my life. With my new married life, I hope to work on www.nadnut.com together with him.

And what better way but to start it off with reviewing tech items first? He well, wrote a paragraph and I added some thoughts of my own! So here's our very first review together!

Spotted this Enjoy 71 7" tablet during the recent IT show newly launched by MSI.

Like most of the other android device, it runs on the Android 4.0 ICS(Ice Cream Sandwich). It is one of the few that has IPS capacitive multi-touch (5 points) panel, running on 1.5GHz dual core processor with Mali-400 graphics, microSD card slot and has mini-HDMI connecting the tablet to larger external display for better viewing experience, something different from other 7" tablets.

The greatest advantage for this Enjoy 71 is the attractive price tag($199) which is lower than other 7" tablets, but relatively has the same features and specifications.

This thin, light weight (299 grams) and sleek peacock blue metal finishing wins me over other brands. Now i can just slip this into nadnut's bag without her grumbling about the heaviness compared to my current 10" bulky tablet!

nadnut adds: I tried using his tablet and I thought it was really light and relatively easy to use. As someone who has never used Android in her whole life, I thought it was easy to navigate. It was also really smooth navigating it and I think for the price he paid, it was really value for money. FYI, the hubby LOVES Android. So to him, bigger screen, cheap, Android = YAY YAY YAY. Crazy fella been addicted to Candy Crush and plays nonstop on his new tablet. Pfft.

I hope this will not be the first and last review from him :p Hope to do more! Perhaps I should have a new category for his reviews? And new banners? We'll see! Any comments? (COMMENT ASKING HIM TO WRITE MORE! HE IS SO SHY ABOUT HIS WRITING!)

Thanks guys!

During the CNY countdown, one of the fortune tellers mentioned that the lucky colour for Rats was black. And with that, I began my mini obsession in incorporating black in my daily dressing.

I love the floral earrings that my lovely Linda gifted me from her shop Le-vonne.com. She stocks the most adorable accessories, do check her shop out!

I also went for a half black mani and pedi from my lovely nails sponsor Milly's. She's having a S$20 gelish promo currently! My favourite manicurists are Corinne and Tina! Highly recommended! Do look for them!

I also tried the natural dolly lash extensions from Milly's.  Quote ‘nadnut’ upon making reservation to enjoy certain promotions!  Call or sms 83835395 to make an appointment!

Black outfit for my birthday! Which reminds me, I need to blog about the hubby's birthday soon. Oops.

So, what's your lucky colour this year? Do you believe in it? I think I'm quite cheena, lol. Perhaps influenced by the Ching Chong Hubby :p
