In one of my previous work trips to Taiwan, my colleagues and I had wanted to visit the Hello Kitty Cafe! However, it was packed and we had a plane to catch so we skipped it. Fast forward to 1.5 years later, when the c(hubby) and i visited Korea for our photoshoot, he mentioned that we should visit the Hello Kitty Cafe in Hong Dae!
Where got people's hubby or boyfriend suggest such a thing one?!
Hehhee thank you c(hubby)! He's always game for such stuff even if it means subjecting himself to full on Hello Kitty-ness! :p
Some of the Hello Kitty premiums that you can purchase..
We had a hard time deciding what to order!
In the end we decided on a Caramel Macchiato for him and a chocolate waffle for me!
The Hello Kitty Cafe is extremely adorable and is decorated with full on PINK and Hello Kitty icons, even the washroom had Hello Kitty mirrors! A must-go for picture taking! However, the desserts were pretty normal, I guess the premium pricing you're paying is mainly for the ambience and decor!
No regrets though!
Check out the Hello Kitty Cafe at:
Address: 94-3, Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (Hong Dae)

I'm not sure if you guys realised... but this year is the ten years anniversary of me blogging! This is why I've been trying to do as many giveaways as I can! Continue reading to find out how you can stand a chance to win Fancl's Moisuring Line worth S$196!
I have been a fan of Fancl for a while now. Even before I was invited to their blogger events, I have been a big user of their cleansing oil and their collagen drinks. I'll like to share about 3 different product ranges here with everyone. Reason so, is because I believe not everyone has the same skin type. See what's best for you and use accordingly!
For the troubled skin.
Fancl has launched the new Fancl Pore Cleansing Pack and Skin Renewal Pack which is targeted to tackle clogged pores, blackheads and impurities.
The new Pore Cleansing Pack (S$58) is a daily rinse off mask which helps to dissolve, absorb and remove impurities while minimising the appearance of pores.
The new Skin Renewal Pack (S$46) is a gel mask that preps the skin for optimal absorption of other skincare products while purifying the skin by restoring damaged skin cells. I felt an instant moisturising and softening effect after using the Skin Renewal Pack.
For instant hydration.
This range is not only for dry skin. It is also suitable for oily skin. Some people feel that oily skin need not be moisturised which isn't true! One must always hydrate the skin so that to enhance skin's radiance and suppleness. Sometimes oily skin are actually caused by dehydrated skin forcing one's skin to produce extra oil to make up for the dehydration!
The Moisturizing Line works to instantly hydrate skin by improving skin’s natural moisturizing function. It effectively delivers moisture deep into skin and promotes moisture retention, enhancing skin’s radiance and suppleness. When natural moisturizing functions are restored, skin is able to naturally fend off problems such as dryness and roughness.
The FANCL Moisturizing Line is a perfect marriage of FANCL’S MUTENKA philosophy with Advanced Penetrating Nano Capsule Technology, which allows beauty products to be delivered quickly and deeply into the skin, for fast visible results.
The science behind FANCL Moisturizing Line effectiveness lies in its key active ingredients. Leading the way is natural plant extract, Raffinose that develops the pathway for moisture to penetrate deeply into the skin. Fresh Royal Jelly extract, one of nature’s treasures, then serves as a catalyst by enhancing the delivery of moisture to cells, allowing nutrients to be effectively absorbed by the skin. The concluding act is the all-natural Rice Ferment Extract which improves the skin’s natural moisturizing power.
If you are buying this range, you may notice two types of product numbers. I is for oily skin while II is for combination, normal and dry skin. I can currently using this range for my dry skin and I've definitely felt results so far! Aside from using the skincare, I will be trying out Fancl's supplements such as the Beauty Vitamin & Collagen tablets and the Moisty Hyaluronic Acid tablets to help moisturise my skin. Hopefully I have radiant skin for my #project1314 wedding dinner!
For the tired skin.
I love that Fancl has something for everyone! As you guys know, I'm hitting the big 30 next year. As we grow older, our skin's natural production of collagen starts to decline. The loss of collagen coupled with the external factors such as UV rays will only escalate our skin's aging. Needless to say, I'm getting a bit paranoid about my anti ageing skincare routine. I've been taking collagen drinks and supplements since the start of last year and I was pleased to find out about Fancl's latest range!
This new and improved formula makes HTC Collagen DX the quick and convenient solution for women on the go. Available in tablet and powder forms, the supplement is easy to consume and helps skin to maintain a healthy glow that shines from within.
After reading about the 3 product ranges, which interests you the most? Do let me know so that I could hold future giveaways!!!
