First look at the Blackberry Playbook.

The RIM folks were kind enough to lend me the Blackberry Playbook for a few weeks. As I was traveling quite a bit, the boyfriend had the good fortune to play with it instead.
Here’s my first look at the Blackberry Playbook! Pls pardon the noob video!
I might consider doing a more in depth review, but we’ll see if the opportunity arises!

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010My favourite Blackberry apps would have to be:
1. Blackberry messenger.
I think I save a lot of money using bbm all the time! It’s easy to msg/send files/ping your fellow bb users and I always chat with Ccb via bbm every day! I can’t imagine bb users NOT having bbm!
2. Ubertwitter
I actually prefer this over Twitter for Blackberry. The interface is much nicer and i am very comfortable with using ubertwitter. Plus uploading pictures to my twitter is really convenient!
3. Facebook
Now I can view facebook friend’s requests, update my facebook status and upload photos all via my blackberry! Only thing I dislike is that when I try to view videos, it opens up on my internet browser and i can’t view it! Does anyone else have this problem?
4. BeBuzz Free
Cute little app where you can set different colours to your missed call alert and incoming calls. iRike!
5. WordPress
So I can blog on the go! I post most of my mini notes using this app!

My Nokia X6 experience

Thanks to Nuffnang and Nokia, I had the opportunity to play with the Nokia X6 for a week!
Firstly, some background info on the Nokia X6! Nokia has launched the Nokia X6, which is their most powerful entertainment device to date! It combines 32GB memory with a slick interface with access to Nokia’s Comes with Music!
Here’s my take on it!
The Nokia X6 offers great entertainment fun! I love the fact that I can keep in touch with my various social media activities with it! This is what I do on a daily basis.
1) I change my status on Facebook and check emails and friends request on the go!
2) I twitter all the time! I keep in contact with my friends via twitter. Follow me on twitter here!
3) I chat via msn!
4) I listen to my favourite songs to and fro work! Traveling is so boring! I need some music to keep me company!
5) I check out my favourite blogs via me phone!
Not only can I do that, the Nokia X6 offers some fun features like fun games like DJ Mix Tour, Asphalt 4 and Spore! I love Spore! Silly fun! And you can also play DJ by creating different playlists e.g. on diff genres or moods. I have a playlist for running! All the loud, fast music to keep me going.
You can also download music from the Nokia Music Store / Ovi Store for free for 12 months! There is no restriction to the number of tracks you wanna download!
The best feature of the phone to me?
The pictures taken are good! Look at the pic above. I like it! 
That’s my experience of the Nokia X6! I don’t wanna return it!

Cruising on the HTC Touch Cruise 2009.
Thursday, May 7th, 2009Nuffnang together with a joint promotion with HTC offered yours truly with 4 other bloggers the opportunity to play with the HTC Touch Cruise 2009.
While it was my first time using the Windows Mobile platform, I found myself adapting rather quickly to the phone.
Here are some key features of the phone that I really liked.
Messaging.
Remember those times where you received a message from a friend and you have no bloody idea to what he/she means?
Kiss goodbye to those blur blur times! The whole message conversation is available at a glance. I hate scrolling through hundreds of messages trying to find a certain message. With this feature, it is definitely neater!
Aside from that, you’ll be spoilt for choice over the numerous different ways to reply.
You can use the conventional phone keypad.
Or the keyboard…
Or Full QWERTY….
My favourite would have to be the Compact QWERTY keypad.
Another thing that I was really happy about was for the fact that I need not cut off my nails to use this phone unlike a certain *cough* phone we all know..
I can use the stylus which is provided…
Or even reply messages using my nails.
Mail.
Syncing up emails is really a breeze. I like being able to access my emails anytime. Btw, don’t you think that the mail appearance is really cute?
Pictures.
The HTC Touch Cruise 2009 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with a geotagging feature. Before I talk about Footprints, I like how there is a people page where you can save pictures of the people you usually contact. It is basically looks like a collage of my favourite people.

Remember the geotagging feature that I mentioned? Here’s where it comes in handy…
One of the key features of the HTC Touch Cruise 2009 is the HTC Footprints. How it works is that you take a picture and it’ll save your location.
With the coordinates and everything. There is even space for you to include little details about the location for instance, perhaps Vivocity has this lovely thai food that you adore? Include those thoughts in and save the location into the different categories available: Favourite, Shopping, Dining, Leisure and Others.
Shortcuts.
I like the shortcuts feature, I can include my favourite games or programs and access it easily instead of scrolling thru numerous pages to find what I want.
This girl just wants to play Solitare PRONTO at times. 
Size.
Last but not least, the size of the HTC Touch Cruise is really great. Small and yet handy. I really can’t imagine how did they cramp all of these features in such a small device!
The HTC Touch Cruise 2009 retails at $858 and is available at most major telco shops.

The beauty (Canon Ixus 110IS) that I’m currently lusting for.
It was so horrible at the event! As you guys may know, my Sony T10 is in a horrible state right now where I can only snap one or two pictures because it decides to shut down and I’ve been borrowing cameras for a while till I save enough money to buy a new camera. Being at the event with sooooo many different cameras was killing me then. It felt as if I was dying of thirst and there was a huge array of drinks infront of me but none that I could drink!
Regarding the new range of cameras, Canon and Ogilvy have kindly lent me the PowerShot A1100IS during the weekend where I was gambling in Genting. (I’ll upload the pictures next week!) It’s really userfriendly and is almost idiotproof and is great for beginners! However after using the Canon Ixus980IS for a while now, I’m totally spoilt by the functions. Check out the fab pics I took of my food in Little Vietnam!
Sadly, I’ll be finally be returning the lovely cameras to Canon later and I’ll be cameraless for a while. :/ Would have to leech off friends’ cameras from now on. Yikes!
I keep falling… keep keep falling sick…
Monday, February 16th, 2009I’ve been sick since last Friday. Down with a sore throat at first then the fever and the body aches came. After that, I started spitting out green phlegm.
I keep feeling hot and cold.
I highly suspect its due to the numerous bottles of brands essence of chicken and red bull that I’ve been guzzling while studying for my exams. I’m feeling way too heaty.
Bleah.
