Review: Flying without wings with iFly Singapore
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
Kenny and Joy from Grayling (yes, my ex-company
) invited me for a great body flight experience (i.e. skydiving) at iFly Singapore a few weeks ago. I’ve always wanted to try skydiving (and bungee jumping) but never had the opportunity to do so. I also brought Ching Chong Boy with me!
Needless to say, when both Kenny and Joy presented this opportunity, I said YES immediately!

Here’s some background info on iFly.
- It’s the world’s largest indoor skydiving simulator.
– It’s the only wind tunnel that offers flyers an unparalleled view of the South China Sea and a nightly firework display from the nearby Songs of the SEA.
– Anyone from first timers to professional flyers can fly.
– 20 professional flyers can be accommodated at any one time.
– It’s a great full body workout!
– Local trained instructors has clocked in more than 50 hours of flight time. Impressive!
Alrighty, picture time! (Pictures taken by Jacelyn and me!)

Some of you ladies may experience this. With the extremely stressful lifestyle we lead, we hardly have the time to enjoy a good healthy diet, exercise, pamper our skin or even have the adequate amount of sleep. Because of this, our skin tend to suffer. We experience dull and tired looking skin and for some reason, no matter what we do, it isn’t enough.
Happy 3rd anniversary Majolica Majorca!
Friday, October 14th, 2011
In a blink of an eye, three years has passed! It has been 3 years that I’ve been a Majolica Majorca Blog Ambassador and have been sharing about the latest launches, swatches and tutorials of Majolica Majorca in this humble personal turned lifestyle blog.
It’s been a great three years with Majolica Majorca and for all of you loyal readers, you’ve seen my experience so far.
From the first time where I met the other ambassadors to funky activities like holding a snake, exotic classes to fun activities like the silly story i wrote, decorating classes, makeovers and the numerous launches that we’ve attended, it has been a great 3 years so far and I do not regret joining Majolica Majorca as one of their pioneer blog ambassadors.
Am not sure if they would continue this programme, even if they don’t, Majolica Majorca will always hold a special place in my heart.
Enough mushywushy-ness from me! Let me share with you on the exciting activity we’re having for Majolica Majorca’s 3rd anniversary!
I met with the girls at Pique Nique recently (great food btw, am SOOO gonna go back soon!). Very nice place, love the Western/American decor. Reminds me so much of a diner!

and they shared with us on two things!

1) They’ve came out with this limited edition box set which consists of either:
The Perfect Automatic Liner or one of Majolica Majorca’s mascaras with a limited edition key ring! (and also vouchers from The Scarlet Room!)

Ching Chong Boy’s birthday celebration – Birthday party at Boiler Room
Wednesday, September 28th, 2011Last year we had a surprise birthday party but this year I didn’t plan a surprise birthday party. Why so? I explained to Ching Chong Boy that it wouldn’t be a surprise since he would anticipate me doing so. Only the first year will be a surprise :X
Anyway, Ching Chong Boy wanted to party at Boiler Room for his birthday (*coughs* that was where we first met btw! :p). He invited a few of his close friends and it was partayyyyyy time!
Sadly, we didn’t know about the birthday package that was available at St James and bought a bottle instead. Bo hua!

This is mainly a pictorial entry, because… there isn’t much to say about clubbing! Erm, music, drink, dance?

Ching Chong Boy’s birthday celebration – My Star Virgo 6D5N cruise to Ho Chi Minh & Redang experience!
Friday, September 23rd, 2011
Remember my previous entry? I had celebrated Ching Chong Boy’s birthday by arranging for a staycation and massage the day before his birthday (which I will blog about it later…) and for his birthday, we went for a cruise! To be exact, the Star Virgo 6D5N cruise to Ho Chi Minh & Redang. This was made possible by Nuffnang and Star Cruises! <3

I figured that blogging by each activities day by day might be a tad messy and confusing to read thus I decided to go thru the following in this order!
1.The room
2. The makan places
3. The facilities
4. The activities
5. Ho Chi Minh
6. Redang
Random camwhoring pictures will be inserted in between. :X
I had brought along Colin who brought along Ivan! Glad to have them on this trip! Great company
We enjoyed a rather VIP check in, very hassle free and my Guest Service Officer Vivian was a great help. She helped arranged for all tours and reservations!

We were treated with a welcome drink and was given a tour of the facilities and restaurants in Star Virgo.
Review: Uspa’s Coffee and Sea Kelp Scrub and Mud Therapy and Refining Fruit Acid Facial
Saturday, September 17th, 2011
Remember my previous review on Beauty Host? Here’s the second part of my review! I visited Beauty Host again this time to try their facial and body scrub.

Let’s talk about the Coffee and Sea Kelp Contour Scrub with Complete Body Rejuvenator Mud Therapy first!
Honestly I’m not a big fan of coffee but the coffee scrub smells heavenly! The therapist mentioned that the Coffee and Sea Kelp Contour Scrub would not only help with my dry skin on my back as an exfoliater but it also has anti-cellulitic properties. It did wonders for my dry skin!
After the scrub, I had the Complete Body Rejuvenator Mud Therapy, it is an extremely rich clay which is used to not only detoxify but to also rejuvenate one’s skin. It has Kaolin, Balm Mint, Chamomile and Fennel as it’s main key ingredients. My skin felt uber soft and silky after that!
After the body treatment, I was pampered with the Uspa Refining Fruit Acid Facial. The facial is customised to each individual’s skin type and needs. My therapist mentioned that they used an unique blend of botanical fruit acids as not only do they help refine the surface of the skin (which gives one a rather radiant complexion but it only helps increase hydration and also greatly reduces the appearance of fine lines, unevenness and also age spots. I noticed that my skin felt softer, refined and also more hydrated.

I felt that my skin looked more radiant for the whole week!
Cristal kindly passed me a Uspa home care kit which consisted of the following:

- Awakening Foam Cleanser
- Bamboo Polish
- Deep cleansing mud therapy
- Moisture Control Lotion with Vitamin C
Aside from that, Cristal has kindly offered my readers a special promo. Just quote “nadnut” and you’ll enjoy a very special rate exclusive to www.nadnut.com’s readers!
Remember the Uspa Customised Facial I mentioned about earlier? Usually, it’ll cost you $68 for a facial but with my promo, it’ll be $68 for 2 pax! A perfect time to bond with girlfriends or pamper your mum!
Book your facials now! Don’t forget to quote my nick!

Remember my previous Outfit of the day entry?
Here’s the post on Shunji Matsuo‘s Glam Me Up Style Session event held at Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio at The Heeren. I was there with Jace along with other bloggers Trixy and Clara.
We were treated to a yummilicious japanese buffet spread before commencing on our hair makeover. <3
Shunji san shared with us what styles would be flattering for the different face shapes.

He also introduced the latest hair trends in Japan.
Back for another staycation at Quincy Hotel Singapore.
Friday, September 2nd, 2011
As some of you guys may know, I really adore staycations. You’ve probably read about a few of my staycations episodes in this Singapore Lifestyle Blog. And one of them was the Girly Staycation which I had with a few girlfriends last year.
We had stayed in Quincy Hotel back then and we had enjoyed the experience.
Imagine my surprise when my good friend Fidelis (who runs The Clover Fashion) had kindly invited Ching Chong Boy and myself to join her and Jeremy (her new beau) for a couple staycation at Quincy Hotel!
Fidel had managed to get us both bumped up from a Deluxe King to Deluxe Studio room. *SCORE!*
Here are some pictures of the room.
