Part Three of “How he had proposed…”
Tuesday, December 27th, 2011You’ve seen part one and part two.
Here’s the video!
BFF had kindly added subtitles. Thanks dear!
Extremely surprised. Really didn’t expect this at all. Thanks everyone for coordinating and surprising me.
For those who are still wondering what happened was that the (then) boyfriend had planned with the girls to surprise me. He chose the restaurant (which I had complained that it was expensive in a BBM to him earlier. Oops) and they had plans to distract me while he would serenade me with “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Well, only the part on “Don’t say no..” LOL
I never thought he would do something like this nor never expected that he would propose. Well, not so soon.
We talked casually about the future and I thought we would only get engaged like 2 years later? Never expected it to be soon. And while some friends did ask me if I did think if it was the right choice, yes it was. I knew he was the guy I would want to spend the rest of my life with. When you’ve met the right one, you’ll finally understand why it never did work out with anyone else…
The wedding won’t happen so soon. In fact, I’m feeling stressed just thinking about it. Something may happen in 2014 or 2015 but nothing’s concrete at this moment.
Am gonna take my time planning etc, no wanna be a bridezilla!
Thanks folks for all of the well wishes!
Part Two of “How he had proposed…”
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011Review: Mellben Seafood
Sunday, November 20th, 2011
I’ve been going to Mellben Seafood rather regularly since the Toa Payoh outlet is just opposite Ching Chong Boy‘s place. And everytime I tweet or check in via Foursquare, I tend to evoke certain responses from my BFF Jace.
“Wah so shiok!”
“Bo jio!”
“I also want“
Ching Chong Boy and I decided to “jio” Jace and Boss (that’s what she calls her bf!) to Mellben Seafood one weekend. We did not make any reservations but we reached rather early at 6pm as from previous experiences, it tends to get rather crowded from 6.30pm onwards.

Girly outings! + TheBlogShop online!
Saturday, November 12th, 2011There has been quite a number of girly outings but I haven’t had the time to pen it down… so…
Here’s a condensed version!
1) Makan outing at Handburger with Jacelyn!
Before our makan outing, I went with BFF to Strip to get our brazilian waxing done! Am kinda considering Brazilian IPL. Has anyone gotten it done before?

We shared a meal at Handburger as we weren’t extremely hungry. BIG mistake. The food was good! I will be heading down again and I’ll do a proper review this time!
Review: Flying without wings with iFly Singapore
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
Kenny and Joy from Grayling (yes, my ex-company
) invited me for a great body flight experience (i.e. skydiving) at iFly Singapore a few weeks ago. I’ve always wanted to try skydiving (and bungee jumping) but never had the opportunity to do so. I also brought Ching Chong Boy with me!
Needless to say, when both Kenny and Joy presented this opportunity, I said YES immediately!

Here’s some background info on iFly.
- It’s the world’s largest indoor skydiving simulator.
– It’s the only wind tunnel that offers flyers an unparalleled view of the South China Sea and a nightly firework display from the nearby Songs of the SEA.
– Anyone from first timers to professional flyers can fly.
– 20 professional flyers can be accommodated at any one time.
– It’s a great full body workout!
– Local trained instructors has clocked in more than 50 hours of flight time. Impressive!
Alrighty, picture time! (Pictures taken by Jacelyn and me!)
Review: Biotherm’s Skin.ergetic Serum

BFF was invited to the Biotherm Skin.ergetic Serum event and she brought me there! <3

Some of you ladies may experience this. With the extremely stressful lifestyle we lead, we hardly have the time to enjoy a good healthy diet, exercise, pamper our skin or even have the adequate amount of sleep. Because of this, our skin tend to suffer. We experience dull and tired looking skin and for some reason, no matter what we do, it isn’t enough.
Happy 3rd anniversary Majolica Majorca!
Friday, October 14th, 2011
In a blink of an eye, three years has passed! It has been 3 years that I’ve been a Majolica Majorca Blog Ambassador and have been sharing about the latest launches, swatches and tutorials of Majolica Majorca in this humble personal turned lifestyle blog.
It’s been a great three years with Majolica Majorca and for all of you loyal readers, you’ve seen my experience so far.
From the first time where I met the other ambassadors to funky activities like holding a snake, exotic classes to fun activities like the silly story i wrote, decorating classes, makeovers and the numerous launches that we’ve attended, it has been a great 3 years so far and I do not regret joining Majolica Majorca as one of their pioneer blog ambassadors.
Am not sure if they would continue this programme, even if they don’t, Majolica Majorca will always hold a special place in my heart.
Enough mushywushy-ness from me! Let me share with you on the exciting activity we’re having for Majolica Majorca’s 3rd anniversary!
I met with the girls at Pique Nique recently (great food btw, am SOOO gonna go back soon!). Very nice place, love the Western/American decor. Reminds me so much of a diner!

and they shared with us on two things!

1) They’ve came out with this limited edition box set which consists of either:
The Perfect Automatic Liner or one of Majolica Majorca’s mascaras with a limited edition key ring! (and also vouchers from The Scarlet Room!)
