You've probably realised by now that I have cut down on blogging, events and social postings. Reason being, I was undergoing some personal battles of my own. Was going through some personal situations with Skai and it wasn't convenient to discuss or share with others.

Next year marks the 7th year of #nadskai. As they say, when couples hit the 7 year, usually the 7 year itch appears. And it usually marks the appearance of the third party.

Despite our best efforts, this totally failed on us. 98% safe is not 100% safe yo!

My BFF rocks. Not only did she singlehandedly planned the whole Korea trip, she also managed to find the most amazing accommodation on Airbnb ever.

Do take note that we are not sponsored by Airbnb whatsoever but we just have to share our experience! Jace had booked a lovely cosy apartment that was Line themed!

Feature wall in progress. Lol. Love showing little sneak peeks!

Painting in progress! Only first coat done.

Our contractor was pretty insistent on using outdoor paint as he feels that it's long lasting and easy to clean.

So ok lor.

We mainly chose white walls save for one wall which will be grey. Thinking of either stripes or chevron or triangles in a brighter colour for the bedroom.

Stripes seems to be the safer choice. Dunno if my contractor can pull it off lol

We filled in a recess in our mbr... Found it very unsightly plus hard for us to put our bed. So we filled it up with bricks and cement... Smooth smooth liao!

Waiting for drawings for the configuration of our wardrobe and TV console. Progress has been slow this week.

Hope there will be more updates soon! In a meantime, we need to choose our mattress and bedframe soon!

Happy anniversary! 3 years ago, we had an intimate ROM ceremony at the Singapore Flyer and became officially Mr and Mrs Sim (although we considered only being "married" after the Chinese wedding banquet on 1.3.14 heh)

It's been an interesting year with #nadskaihome renovations. I penned a Monday's Musings entry on Reasons Why I Love Him last anniversary, this entry still holds true! Can't wait for our developments next year, moving into our very own home!

Happy Wedding Anniversary My Love! And for the rest of you guys, Happy Deepavali LOL!

As some of you guys may remembered, I shared some updates on #nadskaihome. One being a piece on tips on shortlisting your prospective contractor or interior designer and the other being my defects check at my new BTO.

For those who have been following my BTO journey, I finally have some updates!

In the end we decided on using a contractor. We had a really hard time deciding between an interior designer that we really liked and a contractor friend. In the end, we went with the contract as costwise, it was much more affordable for us.

That being said, there were lots of delays due to certain reasons (which I will share in the later part of my renovation journey).

We've finally commenced and hopefully things will go on smoothly. These are some of the things that we'll be doing.
