Despite learning the Korean language for a short while, I can't read the words. I can pronounce it but I won't know what it means. So... during our trip to Korea, I was pretty lost.

After the lovely day at LotteWorld, we were absolutely starving! We looked for food nearby our hotel and stumbled into this late night place. Their menus were in Korean and we anyhowly pointed at two dishes.

While waiting, I whacked the kimchi dishes (this isn't kimchi kimchi but it's kinda the same :p). I love Korea! I love the fact that the appetisers are free-flow! Super value for money :p

The dishes were then served.

It arrived piping hot, which were perfect for a cold night. We dumped our rice into the soup and gobbled it up hungrily.

The problem is.. we didn't know what we were eating and the owners couldn't speak english at all.

Does anyone recognise this dish? In anycase, the rice in dubious stew was super delicious! But still now, we don't know what we ate. This is a real Mystery Makan. LOL.

I actually picked up Running Man from a dear friend of mine, Kingmeng. You may remember him from posts like these:

- Kingmeng on stage at Wala dancing. Yes. dancing.
- Kingmeng stealing my thunder by being the more adorable one in uniform. Pinafore. Yes. Pinafore.
- Kingmeng vs nadnut. Just because I wanted to post the pinafore pic. Again.
- Kingmeng's surprise birthday party that bombed.

Kingmeng is also a dear mahjong and poker buddy. So during our gambling sessions, he started showing us Running Man. And soon, I got addicted. With Kingmeng, it's hard not to be infected with whatever he's doing. He is such a fun person who can be obsessed with everything.

And his obsession makes it look fun!

Except for football.

Anyway, we soon became addicted, till the point we started buying Running Man tees. And when Kingmeng talked about Korean lessons, I signed up. During our last Korean lessons, we both decided to wear the tee (a first time for me). And here begins the pic spam. All these words just to justify the pictures being posted. Hurhur.

I was invited for a food tasting session at Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks some time back. When I first heard about the location, I was extremely excited. It was located very nearby my hubby's place!

Honestly speaking, the corn was nothing spectacular. It was quite bland and not juicy. But who goes to a cheesesteak place for corn right? (Maybe the corny ones. hurhur)

We both thoroughly enjoyed the Torpedo Fries which are well, basically cheese fries. It was practically dripping with cheese! They were very generous with the cheese! Me love!

I thought that the taste and presentation of the Chic Submarine was really bad. Nothing spectacular. Definitely not worth the price. And not worth typing these sentences over.

The Yellow Submarines Cheesesteak Classic was delicious! It was afterall my first time trying cheesesteaks and definitely not my last. I thought the whole combination of beef, cheese and onion go oh so well with each other. It was like a match made in heaven. Well, a threesome match here. The hubby however did not like the onions but thats because he never really liked much onions in the first place. But be warned, this is a bit messy to eat. I would advice asking them to help slice the sandwich into two. Portionwise, it's rather small I felt. I could have gobbled another in a heartbeat.

For desserts, we had both the Choco Bomber and NY Cheese Hunt. At S$2.80 per piece, we thought it was really value for money!

We had a great time at Yellow Submarines Cheesesteaks and we are definitely sure to pop by frequently. Just remember, stick to the cheesesteaks. Order the speciality!

It's been a while since I wrote about Majolica Majorca and it was the first event I attended as a beauty blogger LOL!

Aside from that, they also launched the Smooth Cleansing Oil which is bit different from the popular Deep Cleansing Oil (I use it to remove my stubborn Majolica Majorca mascara) which allows removal of makeup easily too.

It was quite a fun session alongside the other beauty bloggers!

On a separate day, together with BFF, we went to Star Lash's event in town.
