Aside from the usual work and paktor-ing with Ching Chong Boy, I've taken up two activities.

First, as some of you guys may have remembered that I took up lessons at Mosaic Dance. I took up both West Coast Swing and Zouk but decided that Zouk wasn't really my thing (nor the bf's) and decided to focus on WCS instead. Went for pilates class with Fidelis and found it fun! No pics of pilates though!

Some people were wondering if it was a personal class cos of the previous pics, but it isn't! It's a huge class! Here are some pics 😡

I have been rather lazy these few weeks and have not been attending classes though. Whoops! Too many weddings! Will be starting Salsa soon I guess and trying out ZumCardio! Come join Fidel, ChingChongBoy and me!

Aside from that, Chris from Selective Fitness has kindly offered both BFF and I trial classes.  Selective Fitness specialises in PowerPlate classes. If you are wondering what the heck is Power Plate, here's the official writeup!

Power Plate machines use the principles of Acceleration Training to stimulate the body’s natural response to vibration. These vibrations transmit waves of energy throughout the body, activating muscle contractions between 25 and 50 times per second, enhancing overall performance in sessions as short as 15 minutes a day, 3 times a week. Celebrities, athletes and fitness enthusiasts around the world extensively use the Power Plate.

Classes are currently created to target specific areas that are important for women. “Booty Camp” sessions for instance focuses on the areas from the hips down while classes like “Ab Blaster” target the abdominals and core while “Upper Tone” classes target the arms, back and shoulders. The “Stretch Massage” is an unique class that utilizes the Power Plates vibrations to help increase flexibility and offer relaxing massages. These are just some of the classes that Selective Fitness has created and will continue to refine to ensure customers stay satisfied.

So... we were tortured and bullied by evurl old Chris.

My conclusion? I LOVE IT.

Okay, maybe i'm sadistic. I love being bullied by an evurl trainer. Exercising alone isn't enough for me. I would be lazy and slack off. I personally feel I work better when I have someone pushing me. Am unsure if the Power Plate machines do work but apparently... my ass has shrunk! Both the mothership and ChingChongBoy mentioned that they did think I firmed up a teeeny weeny bit.

For those who are keen, check out Selective Fitness's Facebook page. Go get yourself a free trial!

The boyfriend, BFF, Tiffy and I went with Smith for Haagen0Daaz's Journey of Indulgence last week.

Not only did we enjoy a scenic ride around town, we were fed with chocolates, Haagen-Daaz icecream and countless glasses of Champagne.

Great experience! Thanks for the invite Smith!

I absolutely adore this outfit. Mainly because of the top/dress. I wore it as a top but I guess, if I was daring enough, I could wear it as a short dress with some leggings!

I love how the top flares and I gotta admit that I twirled around bimbotically at home a few times in this outfit.

I hardly dress in such colours. But I thought it was a nice change from my cheery colours.

Remember my previous post? I went back to Milly's and went for Gelish again! This time, I decided to opt for a classic and simple design. I had a crazy amount of weddings to attend and I wanted simple nails.

And I decided to go for "HUAT" nails!

Am loving these nails. RED is one of my favourite colours and I love how classy it looks.

Here's my "huat-iful" nails. Was sharing with Milly's that she should have a promo for SQ Stewardesses. Since gelish does not chip and looks great for weeks, perfect for them!

I wrote why I love gelish previously, do check out this entry for the info!

I was a big fan of this song ages ago. And now, I understand why. :)

It's hard to remember how it felt before
Now I found the love of my life
Passes things get more comfortable
Everything is going right

And after all the obstacles
It's good to see you now with someone else
And it's such a miracle that you and me are still good friends
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool, I know we're cool

We used to think it was impossible
Now you call me by my new last name
Memories seem like so long ago
Time always kills the pain

Remember Harbor Boulevard
The dreaming days where the mess was made
Look how all the kids have grown
We have changed but we're still the same
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool, I know we're cool
Yeah, I know we're cool

And I'll be happy for you
If you can be happy for me
Circles and triangles
And now we're hangin' out with your new girlfriend
So far from where we've been
I know we're cool, I know we're cool
C-cool, I know we're cool
I know we're cool
C-cool, yeah, I know we're cool

When you love(d) someone, you just wanna see them happy. I know we're cool. 😉

I've been going to Mellben Seafood rather regularly since the Toa Payoh outlet is just opposite Ching Chong Boy's place. And everytime I tweet or check in via Foursquare, I tend to evoke certain responses from my BFF Jace.

"Wah so shiok!"
"Bo jio!"
"I also want :("

Ching Chong Boy and I decided to "jio" Jace and Boss (that's what she calls her bf!) to Mellben Seafood one weekend. We did not make any reservations but we reached rather early at 6pm as from previous experiences, it tends to get rather crowded from 6.30pm onwards.
